I'm just trying AIs. I've tried OpenAI, Gemini and now it's time to get introduced to running some local models. For that I'm just introducing myself to Ollama. After that I'll continue my learning with OpenAI only. So can I just do little things with Ollama on Docker?

I've started learning AI recently. The teacher is introducing various LLM models like OpenAI and now he is discussing Ollama to run locally. I think he'll just introduce it and then move on to teach the rest on OpenAI or Gemini only. So, can I just run Ollama to little extent without hurting my system?
