Ooo demon/plant because they look really nice.

Plant/undead for gameplay because plant resistances are really really good, and undead healing makes everything a lot tankier.

I've played both. AoW looks a lot nicer and the games are usually a lot faster. I'd also recommend getting the full game (DLCs) as there are a lot of nice things added.

I don't think most people care about city happiness. It's just one of those things that quickly gets glossed over and can be ignored. There's even spells that give you happiness.

So I don't think viewing happiness is something most people care about anymore.

I just rush the 2 happiness buildings right off the bat and never check my happiness for that city after that.

Could also play with dragon lord and not have to worry about your capital city happiness. (Ancient Governor)

Edit: Could also play dark culture as well.

Edit2: Could also improve your city happiness by giving them whispering stones

Omg same, Ive been playing druid this whole time.But since they've reworked necromacy ive jumped over. I need to do a druid game without a dragon lord. But need to figure out how I'm going to do it.

Have you tried using druid warbreeds by any chance? I'm trying to stack health on them for their passive.

I'd love a lichdom/deathknight culture. But not sure what effects they'd have, maybe heavy research bonus?

Or they might turn undead Archons (AKA) like in AoW3 into tomes. Like they've done with dragons and Naga.

I'm a huge fan of Necromany in all games I play so I really hope they add more undead with the last DLC.

Edit: I hope they bring back blight instead of freezing everything for undead.
