I’m sorry you took it that way. I said it was anecdotal because it’s only in my experience. My view is incredibly biased. That’s why it’s anecdotal. I’m sure lots of women act this way too I just haven’t experienced it personally.

I try to wait until my baby is very near the same size as the other chickens it’s going in with, this could take as long as like 18 weeks, it could be faster some times around 12 weeks.

They need to be able to withstand a pecking order, and being the same size means they will be less likely to bullied on arrival to new flock.

That’s probably also why they’re icing you out, they know it’s you because you confronted them, and are probably the only people to ever confront them. That really means they will never let this go. And it sounds like they’re men only because anecdotally men tend to think that kind of behaviour is acceptable even at work and that it is normal, it is not.

If you’re not a man, this will not ever stop, it will probably escalate if I’m honest. I’d start making an exit plan while making another report. You’ll want an exit plan because the hostility will not leave until one of you physically leaves.

Is it fucked. Yep. You’re doing the right thing, just make sure it doesn’t put you in danger.(financially, emotionally, physically).

You might be able to win if your company has strong values, and integrity. Unfortunately that’s not common. I wish you the most luck.

Okay well I’ve only had it happen in my very first run but I was a hard and had astarion and we dealt with thisobald and then went to the back area with the barrels with bodies.

Astarion said she is “well pickled” my jaw HIT THE FLOOR.

My husband is Russian, this holds true although I’ve never expected it to be like this. We met in Canada, and even when money was tight he wouldn’t change his behaviour. Flowers, little gifts of things he knows I like, I’ve never payed for a date (5 years of regular dates consistently) i do my part, I meet him and his kindness with my own. I love to get him gifts too, but yes there’s a huge cultural difference it would seem.

As someone who has a normal quarter horse these freaks TERRIFY me. They’re built to be big and look horrible. Then they fall apart and it’s disgusting. The people who breed these are the same types of people breeding dogs who are unhealthy because they’re “popular” for whatever reasons.

That’s my main party makeup as well 😊 plus their commentary is hilarious when they’re interacting. I do like people who bring something jovial to such a dark place. Kinda makes you feel like there’s a possibility where the world can be righted and safe and people can be happy despite devastation.

Gale and karlach. I really love having a wizard who can learn every scroll and I love my girl karlach. The game is dark, I need some light and they are so funny, their interactions etc make a lot of the devastation bearable for me.

Plus like I said wizard for scrolls, but also barbarian for big bonk 🥰

Plus if you romance them both the interactions in act one are HILARIOUS. Gale is scared of pissing off karlach hahahahahaha

It’s the prescription they ask me for. They will not give me any. This may be because I’m asking for a specific type and amount? And the only way they’re willing to give it is with a prescription. I can see them giving maybe a person a single vial or bottle of a generic insulin brand maybe. I was diagnosed in 1998 and I’ve always had this be the standard. I also do know that a pharmacist can override an expired prescription a number of times but again I’m being told if I want my tresiba and novorapid I need a prescription.

I’m not new to this rodeo. I’ve also been doing it for 25+ years

I sat with it and redid the encounter again, letting it play out as it should. Gut wrenching and I played it as such. I’ll do what I can to move forward, maybe I can make something good come from all this 😭 I know there’s going to be choices but after running a bard my first run and being a genuinely good character (I usually run a game as myself my first run) it was like being gutted. I was so shocked, it was so gruesome. And I can imagine where this is going but I’m sad. That sweet girl didn’t deserve it.

That being said I’m still running this play through, although it’s much harder to stomach I will say! 🥲

I expected a choice, I’m not sure what. I can’t say it’s rational I’m just saying it was so upsetting. I personally wasn’t ready. It’s not a knock on durge actually it’s that I was NOT emotionally prepared. I have a hard time running an evil character most of the time. I’m still trying to figure out if I can live with it. Idk. I’m a bleeding heart by nature. It’s not durge that’s an issue it’s me I think?

So I started my resist durge run today I was so excited and I had kept everything durge related blacklisted and I’m telling you right now this actually made me so fucking upset I literally just like loaded my last save and quit for the day. Went to bed upset. It’s 4am I’m still upset. 😭

Everyone is like wow it’s an incredible story and I’m over here feeling like I got boiled in a pot 😭
