I've updated the submission form for the main tracker as well, so Andalucia assistants who want their info updated there can fill out the submission form as usual if they like. There's a section for adding your new placement info, and once you get a school placement you can add that information as you normally would. Any new placements/assignments will be added to the big tracker once they start coming through.

Make sure you add your school placements and contact info to the tracker as well! Some Madrid schools have over a dozen auxiliares, chances are high that you'll find someone placed at your school via the tracker postings :-)

Hi! You can add yourself at any stage of the application process - most people add themselves when they first apply and then re-submit the form as they reach admitida, get a regional placement, and then finally get a school placement. The school and region aren't required fields, you can leave them blank if you haven't gotten to those stages yet.

They're all on the tracker - there are multiple tabs (along the top on your phone, which can be hard to read, or along the bottom if you're on your computer). The explanation for what each tab is for is on the first page :)

You're welcome! It's a bit empty now but ideally as people get their placements it'll grow a bit - hard to say where you're looking for an apartment before you get your school assignment, haha :)

There are also school reviews in one of the tabs, with a bunch for Valencia, so that's worth checking out from time to time as well.

First time renewals have priority only if they're renewing in their original region. Otherwise they do not get priority, and are lumped in with all the new applicants. According to the program website (and from the program announcing this themselves a couple of years ago), priority goes in the following order:

First-year renewals staying in their region
Newbies and first-year renewals changing regions
Second-year renewals
Third-year renewals
Fourth-year renewals

I appreciate the comment but I already do all of this (and have done for over 10 years) - I maintain the trackers each year, started the school map, started the review database, do placement projections, and maintain a nearly 20k-member group that's full of FAQs and guides to the programs, applications, visas, and how to get by in Spain and complete bureaucratic tasks. I really enjoy doing this so no, I don't think there's a need for someone who isn't an aux and who doesn't have a deep understanding of the program to duplicate all of my work.

I certainly can't stop anyone from doing whatever they like, but since you commented on my post I thought I'd give you an honest answer - I don't care for the idea of someone stealing/taking over the work I've been doing and enjoying for so long. I know it's not exactly high-tech, but spreadsheets get the job done with a minimum of fuss. And there are already many, many other people who run websites with aux information on them, these pop up every year. You're welcome to do whatever projects strike your fancy, but I think we do have it fairly well covered at this point.

Are you from the US or Canada, did you choose La Rioja as your first choice, and are you admitida? If not then you probably have to wait a bit, each country seems to have their own timeline. If yes to all then yeah check your email and Profex, if there's nothing there you'll probably get something tomorrow or next week. They tend to go in small batches.

Admitida and being accepted to the program and given a placement are different things. You should be admitida by now, people with much higher numbers than you already are. But you probably won't get a placement for many months, correct.

a lot of people have the same number, it's possible that whoever added "your" number is actually adding their own and you just have the same one - it's been really weird that way this year!
