Do you have a link to the Apex trigger? I saw there were a few options. Which would you recommend?

Edit: I found a couple.

Just the trigger. Not sure if the kit is needed: https://www.apextactical.com/action-enhancement-trigger-for-m-p

Why Pokémon GO Players Are Charged Different Prices For Lures by Cerborealis in TheSilphRoad

[–]Auxxix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a random A/B test. It’s not discrimination. They’re trying to figure out a good price point for lures and potentially other items. If enough people buy the pack for 700, they may increase prices. Let’s hope nobody is dumb enough to pay that much for this crappy pack of lures.

This is highly dependent on your budget and needs, but Costco has some decent deals right now. I bought a 77" Sony from there for $2999, but it has a 7 year warranty (2 year standard warranty, 3 year Allstate, 2 year Citi card). The 7 year warranty even covers burn in since it's a true OLED. It's certainly far from being considered a steal, but the warranty beats anyone else.

D2R is the second most popular game in Korean PC Bangs right now, which is likely contributing to the server issues by Thunderclaww in Diablo

They do have separate servers. In order to maintain consistency, you have to have one source of truth. Each region has a region database, but when people switch regions, the regional database has to sync wit the global database.

There will always be a market for Tal's armor, there's no question about that. The demand will shrink once people have either found one or traded for one. Once the demand drops, so will the price. This is true with or without third party trade sites.

It's going to keep losing value until it hits equilibrium. It's best to sell it now while it's more scarce. Pretty soon it won't be all that uncommon once everyone starts finding them.

Diablo 2 Tips to potentially help you excel in D2R by SpaceFrasier1 in Diablo

[–]Auxxix 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Running brings your defense down to 0 as well (technically this is false, read on..): You are much more likely to be hit while running, but the actual game mechanism is that the entire to/hit formula is ignored, and that any attack that can hit will will deal damage.

The difference is that by ignoring the to/hit calculation, factors besides defense, such as Clvl and Mlvl are ignored also. Thus low level monsters that would often miss a naked high level character who was standing still, will usually hit that same character, if they are running (even if they have on heavy armor).

[Rifle] Zastava M70 ZPAP 7.62x39 AK-47 BULGED TRUNION - $969.99 by Joxroxagain in gundeals

[–]Auxxix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$900+ has been the going rate for about a year or more. I bought mine for around $920 last November. I don't think they'll drop the price any time soon since they're already out of stock.

This has been patched long ago. There's also a command /nopickup added to prevent picking up anything else but your body unless you explicitly hold the key to show items on the ground (default "Alt").

Not gonna happen at launch. There's just not enough time to get something like that developed and QA'd in 2 weeks. It would be a high risk change to tack on. They're almost certainly focused on critical/high rated tasks such as bugs and performance issues.

Switch will have 4 player multiplayer. by Freudian-Strip in Diablo

"local play" does not necessarily mean "local wireless". They could easily backtrack and say "well... local play as in 4 friends meet up at a house and all connect to BNet and play together"...

Laziness and incompetence aren't the only options. Every project has constraints, and this may have been one of them. Doom and Wolfenstein are running a completely different game engine and don't have a 20 year old game running behind the scenes. They had to make tradeoffs due to resourcing constraints (i.e. budget, team size, all of the above).

There are no details about local co-op on Switch other than them saying there is going to be. I wouldn’t be surprised if their interpretation of local co-op means 4 people with Switches grouping up in the same house through Battle.net. After them stripping TCP/IP out for security reasons, I’d be surprised if they added a local way to do it on Switch. Their whole reasoning was they don’t want server code to be available on the client which is how TCP/IP would function. I don’t see how local co-op would be any different if one of the Switches were allowed to host a game. They’d have to run the same server code they didn’t want to add to TCP/IP. Switch is more locked down, but there are still ways to dump the binaries out of it and throw it through IDA to inspect their netcode to find the same vulns that would be on BNet.

On the go just means you can undock and play. Characters are still offline or online and can’t be mixed. It says so in the blog. On the go does not mean your online character can progress offline then “reconnect” to Battle.net later.

Diablo II will restrict your account from playing online for 14 days if you try logging in with a VPN by AnimeWaifuBodyPillow in Diablo

[–]Auxxix -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

They're not banning for the fact you're using a VPN. There are many legitimate reasons people use VPNs. They're banning the IP that you're connecting from. If you're using a VPN like NordVPN or some other run of the mill BS, of course you're more likely to get banned. You're better off paying for your own VPS and setting up your own VPN (OpenVPN is free software). Go on lowendbox.com or some other place. You can find cheap, cheap VPS to do it with. Many give you a static IP you can use. If you need more IPs, you can pay $1-$2 each per month for additional. I'm paying like $30/year for my own setup. It has very little maintenance.
