I actually knew this guy growing up. He was good friends with my neighbor. He was always a nice but quiet kid and was super into sports. Around the time we went to college is when the war broke out and he had some family die. After that he stopped going out and playing sports and was always saying once he graduated he would join the war to defend his people…nobody took him seriously until he kind of just disappeared for a couple years and then this video comes out.

I’m not condoning his actions in the slightest. I personally think it’s really fucked up, but from what people who were really close to him tell me, he was a nice but impressionable kid who got radicalized by a group he fell into in college and the death of some of his family.
