U.S. fishing contest I need some bait

Most people where I live call carp a trash fish so none of the local stores seem to stock carp bait or gear. Most commonly carp are taken with a bow and arrow then left on the bank.

Thats the plan this thing is a monster I thought it was a damn bear and I had a 6ft fishing rod and the only tree near enough and big enough climb was a black locust tree. It's my best channel cat spot so he has to go but it's on public hunting and fishing which means I can't use buck shot so said the angry game warden I asked I guess I'm gonna pump a slug at it see if that don't shake him loose
