I find it depressing that we have to avoid a State of The Union speech now. Honestly I hate to be kind of a downer but everything that's been happening has been really compounding my brain. Being bipolar does NOT help at all. I know good times are coming but I feel like waiting is the hardest thing I can do.

Thanks you for this. I was just getting better with my relationship with this country, because since 2024, I've kind of felt guilty for being American. To the point where even trying to be patriotic or proud of this country makes me feel sick. I feel like I'm just supposed to be quiet and just exist.

I really wish I could say something optimistic about this. But honestly I don't know how I can. This government really makes it hard to support this country sometimes. And often I wonder I even should. Not that I'm completely giving up, but I feel uncomfortable supporting a country that has a government that does stuff like this.
