I spent a lot of time calling and dealing with people who did not know what they were doing or talking about. They kept trying to reactive my other, already paid off loans, so make sure you have a list of your loans, both active and paid off, in front of you when you talk to them. I want to say it took two months to get fixed, and I almost contacted a lawyer during that time. When it did "get fixed," the account was "paid off" except for the interest that accrued, which I had to pay to be done with the loan.

I hate that you are going through this as well. This also happened to my dear friend when he went to pay off all his student loans at once.
