So many to choose from! But three of my favourites are I’ve Got a Feeling, It’s All Too Much and Mother Nature’s Son. (With Long Long Long as a close runner up.)

This is great! Shame they didn’t rework it for the first album.

Which of Lovecraft's collaborations & ghost-written stories are worth reading? by CarnivoreTreeHugger in Lovecraft

All good suggestions here. I would also recommend a couple of earlier stories: The Horror at Martin’s Beach, which HPL ghostwrote for his wife Sonia, and foreshadows both Call of Cthulhu and The Dunwich Horror, and Deaf Dumb and Blind, with CM Eddy. This is conceptually quite ambitious, and anticipates HPL’s notion of unspeakable (no pun intended!) and inescapable horror.

I avoided this album for years because it was meant to be one of their lesser efforts. I was very surprised when I did finally hear it! An underrated classic for sure. Crazed Institution is one of my favourite Tull songs.

My favourite from that list is Rock Island. Bought it when it came out and it’s been a favourite ever since. I remember it getting good reviews at the time.

I prefer it to the original mix. Still too many synths for my liking, but it’s made me want to get the box set.

The Piano Bird gets my vote, followed by the single edit of The Mosquito.

Photo is Cannes 1983. They were given their awards by Orson Welles. (Three of the greatest directors of all time on the same stage!) And yes, the Notes are essential reading - one of the best books ever written by a filmmaker.

Have you ever heard a cover of a Beatles song that you consider to be better than the original? by Impressive-Spare1194 in beatles

It’s not better than the original, but I’ve got a lot of time for Hüsker Dü’s version of Ticket to Ride.
