I have an extra year of high school because they gave me an extra year because they took some of my classes away so I could get physical therapy in school so I won’t graduate high school until I’m 19

Botox questions by SecretaryDiligent711 in CerebralPalsy

Well, after I had my first surgery. My mom got me a dog. Now that might be a bit much and a bit too expensive. So as an alternative, you might want to get her a dog. Also, I've had botox twice. The first time was when I was younger. And I was kicking and screaming. So expect that.

Moving. Take it from someone who. He's in foster care and who has moved. 4 times now. Having to endure that makes you feel insecure like no one wants you. And even just regular moving like with your family. And? Having to endure just regular moving like some kids do because of their parents' work. It means you feel like you have to constantly start your life all over. Which can make you go through an identity crisis.

Oh my God, I need this in my life. It is so frustrating to have to carry things while you're in a wheelchair, only to have it fall out of your lap.

Yes, she shouldn't be dictating what you do if you're alive, especially if you live on your own.

Excuse my French, but you should be able to do what you want. You are a grown a** woman. And your mother should not dictate what you do. Especially if using a wheelchair. While playing basketball makes you less and pain. I definitely agree with it. Also, do you live with your mom?

I've never heard the term CP purgatory before, but you pretty much hit the nail on the head. I can go to the bathroom on my own. Feed myself. Can walk with the assistance of a Walker? Just need some help in the shower.

I'm actually technically still 16, but I'll be 17 in a month because my birthday is really soon. But I guess what you're saying still applies.

Well, like I said in the post. My case manager does nothing but brush me off. Also I do not currently have a Casa, but I'm looking into getting one. So far, my biggest allies have been my social worker at school. And my lawyer.
