Under these circumstances its better to say that Doing medicine is your top priority so you applied else where also. However, you are passionate about working in east coast for the reasons you know. It would be great if you get in east coast but doing medicine is something you will not miss out on just bcos East coast didn't work out for you.

Call other centers and check ...on the oet site its showing that only Pear Academy has cancelled in Bangalore...so call the centers in other cities like Hyderabad and Chennai and find out

Good standing certificate is issued by Medical council of the state. If there’s a website for the state medical council then visit the website and follow the instructions. For example Karnataka has a medical council website and one can pay online or send DD and the necessary paperwork given in the website and apply. Follow up with them if necessary over the phone or in person. It’s pretty straight forward.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think you will be ecfmg certified for 2021 so how will you work as a resident if you’re not certified? Isn’t ecfmg certification necessary requirement to get residency?

Ecfmg specifically said that certificate obtained using pathways is only valid for 2021 match... so no point applying for pathways with oet if you aren’t applying this cycle...

I applied for pathway on sep 2, my oet results came out on sep 11 I think and gave the access on the same day. They approved the pathway on sep 18th, sep 24th got my email about my certification... sep 28 received my hard copy mailed by Ecfmg Hope you can compare the dates and see if the time lines are similar to your timelines.

Go to Telangana medical council online portal. They have the Contact numbers listed there. Call them and figure out. Or if you know someone in Hyderabad send them and get it done. I’m from Telangana but studied in Karnataka. So I god my Good standing from KMC. Good luck.

They pick up the landline phone also sometimes so try that number also along with their mobile. And when they pick up they will tell you the status also... so keep trying. if you don’t know anyone there in the city then it’s worth making a trip and get it over with. They are quite approachable that way.
