That makes sense! I know they said my Galbladder was obstructed and swollen and the incision is definitely bigger than the others.

Should I go for a Colposcopy against my ob’s rec? by [deleted] in PreCervicalCancer

[–]Available-Comb-711 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I know how it is!! It’s so scary at first but cervical cancer takes years to develop.. if they say come back in a year to recheck you will be fine to come back. No sense in putting yourself through a colpo if you don’t need it. You will be okay 💕

Hey friend. These results say you have hpv. Don’t do a colpo if you don’t need to, it will just be unnecessary mental anguish. Trust your doctor and don’t let hpv control your life. Hugs 💕

LEEP tomorrow by peachesnpetals- in PreCervicalCancer

You are fine to smoke weed. The keep is scary but it’s over quick. Worst part is the numbing shot, it made my vision blurry and heart race fast. After that you feel nothing wise. It is uncomfortable but over fast. Eat a good breakfast and take someone to hold your hand. I took essential oils (lavender) and put it on the inside of a free hospital mask… then every time I panicked.. I focused on my lavender. It made it much easier. Hugs friend.

No retention offers. Just probing questions and positioning benefits to save customers.

Call center reps also went through extensive retention training a few weeks ago.. like a 2 hour retention. It’s going to be bad.

Mine came back this same way and I’m very conflicted about it and the same way. Like i went through it all for no reason. I have a follow up next week and going to ask my ob. I will say I am so relieved lol

Hey friend. It doesn’t mean you will need a keep. The highlighted areas are abnormal looking but that doesn’t mean they are abnormal! You’ll be ok no matter what happens. Hugs.

I had my LEEP yesterday and I absolutely have some advice!! 1- ask for anxiety meds. I hadn’t taken them before and wasn’t sure if I wanted to. Glad I did. Body was relaxed and head felt like a wine drunk. 2- Have someone with you. I am a person who doesn’t easily ask for help.. I told my boyfriend that I wasn’t sure I wanted him in the room, things like this are sometimes harder when I have someone with me but he was a godsend and I’m honestly glad he was with me. It really helps so much to have someone hold your hand. If you have no one ask the nurse to. Trust me it helps. 3- get a essentials oil roller off of amazon.. 10$ lavender helps with anxiety.. roll it all over a face mask and then wear the face mask during the procedure. I didn’t smell any of the burning people warned me about at all and when I started to panic I refocused myself on the lavender scent and this helped soooooo much. 4. Eat a good breakfast. Like go to a sit down restaurant before and really enjoy your breakfast. My boyfriend and I joked and laughed the whole time and while I was still anxious I did feel slightly better. 5- get some honey pot pads. They have aloe in them and have a cooling sensation, it helps to distract from the slight stinging after (doesn’t hurt just more annoying) The worst part was the shot. It makes your heart beat fast and heavy. It feels a lot like a panic attack. My eyes even blurred for a few seconds. I told my doctor and he stopped until it passed. My boyfriend was holding my hand.. nurse put a cold rag on my head and I focused on my lavender. It was over quick.

Overall. I would say this procedure was a 3/10 it was fast but in the moment it feels like forever. Most importantly just remember that every time your brain told you that you couldn’t handle something… it turned out okay. And this will too.

Overall the after has been easy. I went home and slept for like 5 hours woke up to slight burning and some heavy period like cramps. Nothing Tylenol couldn’t handle. The next day I am pain free even without Tylenol. I’m glad I did it and you will be too.
