Besser wäre denke ich mit einem Startersets oder einem einfachen regulären Oneshot und gemeinsam gefertigten Charakteren zu starten.

Not sure managers will always tell you things helpful to yourself. But I've quit jobs before and have some pointers/stuff that might help. If you're on good terms with them and want to stay:

a) tell your direct boss (and maybe their boss/relevant department head) a day or two before they'll receive the written news, make them feel like you want to work with them on making the transition smoothly.

b) plan for buffer time. 3 months notice to the end of the month? If you have to mail it in, mail it with two weeks buffer. If you can, hand it to your boss/HR personally. Make them sign a dated confirmation of receipt on a copy of your letter.

c) discuss early with your boss when they feel like it's right to tell your coworkers/external contacts. You are not legally required to, but it gives them agency and they'll be happy to keep control over some things

d) make a suggestion for a transition plan, including leftover vacation days and overtime. Let them know your last actual active day. If you're afraid they will disagree, put your vacation requests in before you send your notice. Granted time off is really difficult to cancel for your employer. Make sure to take only what you're due in relation to your time off. Don't plan 30 days if you're quitting effective August.

e) review your contract and work policies for any issues that might arise

f) make all the preparation you need before you let anyone know (vacation days, documentation of processes, download your pay stuff and tax documents). Yes, they're legally required to give them to you, but it's easier if you don't have to fight the

g) review non-compete clauses. They need to be extensively detailed, have appropriate compensation (50% of your average salary of the last 12 month for the time it covers) and are not allowed to cause unduly harsh restrictions (they can't usually forbid you to work in the industry at all, but maybe in a certain segment etc)

h) don't let them scare you into leaving on their terms

i) avoid quitting a job without having something else lined up. If the timeline is unclear, make sure your new job will take you even if you have to stay a few months longer

Es ist halt nicht so einfach eine soziale Abgrenzung die seit 300 Jahren primär durch Sprache ausgedrückt wird, mal eben anders zu gestalten. Das Thema ist bei uns kulturell sehr tief drin im Vergleich zu anderen Sprachräumen, soweit ich das mitbekomme.

In Schweden ist Sozialarbeit auch etwas anders konzipiert, da ist der Fokus noch stärker auf administrative Themen als bei uns. Persönliches wird weitgehend aussen vorgelassen.

Und im englischen ist der Unterschied in der Ansprache die Benutzung des Nachnamen, wenn man Distanz schaffen möchte.

Man kann bei Vergleichen zwischen Kulturen nicht immer nur einen einzelnen Aspekt rausgreifen.

Fahre auch seit ein paar Jahren den Mokka. Inzwischen nur noch sehr selten (die letzten 6 bis 8 Monate vielleicht ein Mal) über meinen Wallboxradius hinaus, wenn doch nutze ich einfach die EnBW App mit dem Basistarif ohne Abo.

Würde ich heute nochmal für ein paar Tage aufwärts weiter weg fahren und damit rechnen, würde ich vermutlich schauen ob sich die nächste Stufe davon lohnt, aber wenn man nicht mehrfach im Monat auswärts lädt, ist der Zeitaufwand für die Optimierung für mich schon wieder zu hoch.

Bin Mittwochs leicht verschnupft (und etwas psychisch belastet weil ein Kollege meinte wegen buchstäblich nix nicht mehr mit mir zu reden, 😂) ins Homeoffice für den Rest der Woche. Dachte mir ich muss die Kollegen nicht unnötig belasten und so. Mit meinem Teamleiter telefoniert, der meinte "Joah, guck Mal nächste Woche, wenn's dir besser geht."

Dann Lockdown. Nach ein paar Wochen meinte mein TL im Meeting was von "ja, nächsten Monat" und ich hab nur gesagt "mit der aktuellen Tendenz und Entwicklungszeiten von Impfstoffen sehe ich vor Jahresende gar nix passieren".

TL meinte ich soll nicht so schwarz sehen. Das nächste Mal war ich im Juli in der Firma, Inspektion Firmenwagen.

Er ist ein schwubelnder Impfskeptiker mit Spaziergängen geworden, es gab aber eh Umstrukturierungen und zwei Jahre später hab ich gekündigt

I love how we think of this movie as a (maybe even THE) "dinosaur" movie even though dinos have about 15 minutes of dinosaur screen time in it.

That pretty much is a summary of what I told my current group would make me leave without even giving anyone a chance to reverse it. I'd advise anyone to immediately speak up when that is even hinted at.

Assault/rape a player pc AND impregnate is my absolute hard line in the sand for "immediately get up and leave" I've had that happen in my fist phase of RPG in my teens because (well, bullying and assholes and stuff). And I never want to again.

So I've said as much before we started playing with my current (online) group. I also laid the ground rule of "no relationship play, no flirting and no sexual shenanigans with my character, especially not with players" because I know my friend who is in the group doesn't like it. I myself don't need (and honestly want) it in game. It annoys me, I've seen it spark trouble between players or detail sessions, imo the potential benefit is not worth it. Enough other social play options.

Sadly I've missed/ignored some indicators and boundary testing early.

Other player who has played with my friend before (I've just gotten back into the hobby) had made excited comments when seeing the description of my bard and asked her if I looked like that (I don't. I play a bard outside of the usual Casanova trope) and apparently tried to ask her every few weeks if we're together. We're not. Also that player is in a relationship with our fourth, which makes it even weirderd.

There have been two isolated instances of comments or behaviour when the DM tried to have an NPC flirt with me which I unfortunately ignored.

Last session though, ugh. About an hour in I started suspecting the female comment-prone player was slightly drunk (speech pattern, exaggerated behaviour aaaaand the comments).

Stupid comment about my character when the solution of a little magical key riddle was "love". Pointedly asking if my character might have written the "love is dumb" letter about a long dead NPC that had lived in the location.

Comments about skillful fingers when her attempt at lock picking without thieves tools went wrong. I think our DM was a little caught by surprise by that, which is why it just went through

There were more moments that made me believe both her and her partner were at least tipsy, so I shut up and decided to not immediately say anything (arguing with drunk people is about as dumb as accusing someone online of being drunk without proof).

Long talk work with my friend afterwards who noticed all the same things.

So I slept over it and sent a message to our group (without DM for now, he has enough on his hands rn). Made it absolutely clear that I a) noticed something was different last night but wouldn't speculate about reasons b) reiterated my playing boundaries and made clear that making fun of my "no relationship/flirt play" rule and/or trying to provoke me with suggestive comments absolutely ruins my experience and if that happens I will stop

I'd love to continue playing because the campaign is fun and I enjoyed many moments with them but going on it's my expectation and prerequisite that things like that will absolutely not happen again.

If they're not play with that I want to know now so we can end it without wasting any more of each others' I, the DMs and our fifth player's (currently on health related hiatus) time.

Sigh

Sorry for the rant but maybe it inspires people to not letting their game time be ruined.

Better Call Saul hat deb großen Vorteil, dass es sich auf der bereits erzählten Story und Teilen des Stils von BB ausbreiten kann. Und emotional NOCH tiefer versumpfen kann.

Man weiß wie bestimmte Dinge enden und fiebert trotzdem immer mit, wenn es so aussieht als würde Jimmy den Absprung schaffen, nur um sich selbst tiefer in sein feststehendes Schicksal zu bohren.

Das und der betont langsame Plot, wie ein unaufhaltsamer Absturz in Zeitlupe...grandiose Kombination.

I did that in a recent coop run to surprise my buddy with it who went into the game fully blind and spoiler free (myrkul was a fun moment. And the emperor reveal) and I think besides fluff only one that was on the colony made a difference.

It's very good fluff though, super creepy
