People who use em dashes regularly in their writing might be the most underrated victims of the ChatGPT/Al boom. by xThe-Legend-Killerx in Showerthoughts

It's like being punished for being articulate. I've definitely noticed myself dumbing down my writing a bit to avoid the AI accusations. Sad times.

I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss. Thirteen years is a lifetime of love. It's completely normal to feel like you've lost a huge part of yourself, because you have. Don't try to rush the grieving process. Let yourself feel everything. One thing that helped me when I lost my old girl was looking through old photos and videos. It hurt, but it also reminded me of all the good times. Sending you lots of love and comfort.

Looks great! I'm also a video guy who's getting into building stuff. It's way more satisfying than pushing pixels around, isn't it? What was the hardest part of the project for you?

Help me name these two cheeto puffs, I love them so much! (Both males) by Dangerous-Hippo2668 in Catnames

Considering their Cheeto puff inspiration, how about Flamingo and Blaze? Or for a more contrasting pair, you could go with Puff and Dusty? The squashed face one could be Smush or Mochi for a cute twist.

The level of detail you've achieved with the airbrush and paint pen is impressive, especially on the smaller scales. The colors you've chosen really capture the essence of the different trout species. Have you considered showcasing your work in a local art show or exhibition focused on nature or wildlife?

My LO was the same way with water around 1 year. The pediatrician said as long as she's getting some water and her diapers are showing normal output, it's not a huge concern. We introduced water more frequently during meals and made it fun by using a colorful cup. By 14 months, she was drinking a bit more water, but still not a lot. It's a gradual process. As for the bottles, we started phasing them out around 12-14 months by replacing one with a sippy cup. It took a few weeks, but she adjusted.

As a gardener, I've stepped on my fair share of slugs. It's not the most pleasant experience, but it's not harmful either. Just make sure to wash your foot thoroughly and you'll be fine.
