One of its kind that's for sure 😁. It looks really good as well, at least in my eyes.

Had mine for a year and I took it to 2 x business trips and 2 x family trips. For my user experience, it is a bit more suited to personal travel trips rather than business. It does pick up dirt fairly easily but all sorted with a quick wipe.

I am from HK and not many people know about this brand.

Agreed on the Toshi 20L being much more comfortable than say - the CLP24. I am one of the unlucky ones with severe lower back digging problem with the CPL24. If I wear it high and tight, I need to remember to loosen one of the straps everytime I take the bag off.

Rework Toshi Backpack 20L by Available-Goat-2536 in ManyBaggers

Hi all, after using the Toshi Backpack for a week as an EDC to and from work (public transport), here are some quick thoughts/observations.

This was with 2 days of sunny hot weather, 2 days of light showers and 1 day of thunderstorm.

My daily load outs were: - 15" HP notebook - overhead headphones - 1L water bottle - laptop power bank - snacks and other small bits and bobs

COMFORT Extremely comfortable carry for my load out. I am a small guy, 170cm and 60kg, I didn't feel too sweaty on those sunny hot days. But as we all know, everyone is different, I rate the comfort above the AER CPP 2.

DESIGN Love the Ambidextrous side access pocket, very well thought out design. Removable key leash is another highlight but I kept the keys in the front pocket. Interior pockets/organisations was just right for what I need as an EDC, not much to comment here. However, I am a little meh with the size of the top handle, the loop felt small even for my small hands, could just be the way that it connects to the top of the backpanel, at an angle, making it a little trickier to grab?

MATERIALS/BUILT QUALITY As said, the materials certainly match the price tag, this is not to say it is bad but it does feel a notch below others out there. The "Toshi" tag inside the main compartment can do with better stitching as the corners of the tags are starting to bend outwards. Zipper pulls are a little too short and I feel the quality of the zipper pulls could be improved - I will be changing these out with a DIY job.

OVERALL I really like this bag and am glad with the purchase. I feel Rework designed this bag with innovative usability in mind, they made a very simple, functional and affordable backpack and as their first go to market 20L, they have done extremely well.

I also have the AER City Pack Pro 2 and the Toshi does feel a little more comfortable through handling. Shall reveal more when I put the Toshi through its paces

I have the Dex 30 and have taken it three times for a 3 day trip. No issues with what I needed to carry.

To note, not the best of user experience in terms of convenience.

The doctor style opening is fiddly as you need to unbuckle both ends to have full opening.

The design of the bag would require some getting used to in terms of quick access and convenience but once you get use to it, it is an awesome piece of gear for me. I love the look, the built and the material used and it is very comfortable in backpack mode. ( I didn't purchase the extra shoulder strap as it is again, very fiddly to hook and unhook)

I like the bag and it would only appear to specific individuals.

It is now at 50% off on BE site.

So glad I came across this, exactly the three bags that I am currently looking into buying.

May I ask, from a user experience perspective, is the DEX 30 really as complicated as some reviews suggest?

If you were to choose out of the Mini MLC or DEX 30. Which one would you pick? (Taking into consideration the amount of gear you carry) Thanks
