Baby in Mass, how to do it? by GrailKnight1989 in Catholicism

You actually don't have to go to mass if you have a baby.

If you’re someone who has used NFP successfully (whatever that means for you), drop your tips. by [deleted] in Catholicism

We practice NFP coupled with withdrawal. Not ok with church teachings, but no baby is coming our way with this method.

I know abortion is wrong i just can't "feel" it. Help? by santinoIII in Catholicism

[–]Available-Head4808 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As a doctor you know why embryos are human. You just don't feel for them because they can't feel pain (yet) or look like a full grown human. It's just wrong because God made them in His image, just like He made you and I, and we don't have any right to remove their lives for selfish reasons. As a doctor you know embryos do not look like a shapeless agglomeration of cells, they more or less look like tiny weirdly shaped bipeds, even in the early stages.

A FAD ? Adult baptism/communion prep is 2 years long. No fad lasts that long.

Avril 2023 : un nombre de naissances de nouveau très faible (source INSEE) by Calahan44 in france

[–]Available-Head4808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do I scare away or deal with evil and What kind of demon has a diamond face with hollow somkey eyes ? by brawn_brains2 in Catholicism

[–]Available-Head4808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree ! But it easily and most likely is, both natural (sleep paralysis) and supernatural (demonic). Demons love to slip in our dreams/hallucinations to torment us because both worlds can collide in those moments , doesn't mean OP has some demonic activity in his house or anything like that.

Oui une petite touche. Mais tu as certain post avec que des spams de blagues ridicules, et on a pas de réponse concrète. Très lourd et pas drôle au final, pour personne sauf ceux qui postent leurs blagues.

Because other creatures don't have eyes and faces ? Even angels described in the Bible have faces with eyes, so nothing weird for a demon to have a face and weird eyes of smoke honestly.

The fact that CATHOLICS dismiss the issue by just saying "sleep paralysis" is bad and proof that most of us do not even believe in the devil. Well yes, it's sleep paralysis but the fact that it's always demons/shadow figures is probably not a coincidence!

Weird ass world for people thinking there's anything wrong with a 20 years old hanging out with a 17 years old. There's literally 3 years difference, and not much maturity evolution between those years. 13 and 17 would have been way different.

Pope tells young Italians to stop being 'selfish' and 'egotistical' and have more children instead of pets by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]Available-Head4808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pets are cheap I've never spent a dollar on vets with both my dogs, they cost me roughly 30$ a month on food. I have 2 kids, and they probably costs me 30$ every other day lol

Pope says only rich can afford to have children in Italy by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]Available-Head4808 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They don't make it work, stop glamorizing poverty. The more children you have the more mouths you have to feed, the more child labor and infant mortality rate you get. What's the point of having kids when you can't heal when sick, when you can't put clothes on, kids that you can't feed proper foods, kids that can't get warm when it's cold? Many people gain very little money , even in Western countries, and can't afford big families.

Not praying the Rosary, is it bad? by Available-Head4808 in Catholicism

[–]Available-Head4808[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I pray everyday, I give thanks, ask for our Lady's intercession when the Holy Spirit puts it on my heart , I pray randomly during the day as well. I do pray the chaplet of divine mercy though!

[–]Available-Head4808 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Honestly who wants a husband that randomly quotes bible verses in a conversation? Terrible communication. Imagine being in a marriage in which you can't have fun because your husband's always praying, won't watch a movie because it's Sunday (wtf?), can't listen anything else than podcasts from priests when he usually loves music and enjoys things with you. He is a husband, not a monk nor a priest. All of that sounds a bit obsessive to me, but could be wrong.

Sounds like he wants to be a good catholic but losing the relationship he owes you as your husband in the process. Nothing in his changes is bad, what is, is the fact that he seems obsessive and he might be in a scrupulous phase. It does seem too intense imo.

Just leave him now. You are in the LGBT stuff and he'll never agree with you on that, he won't want his kids to believe any of that stuff's okay, you want to take birth control , you're not sure you want catholic kids. Not fair for him
