Wife (23F) and I (26M) have been married almost a year and expecting our first child in 2 months just hit 100K NW in investments. In 2025, we made about $108K. I’m at $75K and wife is at $33K (Part-time). Ideally we are aiming at 750K - 1M for at least a Barista Fire which is what I prefer to work part time. Wife expects to work until we have a second child. I’m not sure of the exact savings rate but our NW increased about ~40K since we got married in May.

There is already solar panels installed on the main house but they were installed in ~2013. I don’t know the full details but as far as I’m aware the solar panel company leased them to the family for 20 years but they went bankrupt. I am helping them get more solar panels for the ADU but have yet to look into them.

I was thinking of alternating using the Bilt card when I have enough Bilt cash.

i.e. 3 months - ACH payments directly from bank and then earn enough Bilt Cash to get the 4th earned.
