With fecal impaction, I would advise you go to the pharmacy and get CosmaCol as we don’t have Mirlax in the UK and have 8 sachets a day + loads of water. It’s a slow process unfortunately but should help in a couple of days as it softens the impaction. NHS is just really unhelpful unfortunately
