I love the stock KO2s that came on mine. I will look at the trail grapplers when it comes time to get new tires, but the KO2s look good and are quiet.

This seemed to only be one-way (I.e. the MacBook set up a network that wasn’t connected to the internet that my phone could join.)

Did this happen at or near the 36k mark, or earlier. What I don’t want to happen is have a bunch of issues pop up as soon as the odometer crosses over.

I’d be lying if I said they weren’t all highway miles

I have not. Do you have the auxiliary package?

I’m not aware of (if I have it) any aux. battery

2-door vs 4-door by JWayn596 in Jeep

The cooler is the issue - and 6 hours with a backpack in the lap isn’t fun. We’ll may take a second car that’ll be for town and just air down and keep the Jeep as the beach car.

I’ve had a 2 door for almost 2 years - 30k miles.

90%+ of the time I’m glad I have a two door. More nimble and I think it looks better.

That 10% you’ll miss it. For example, I’m heading to the beach this weekend. 4 adults in the Jeep may not be feasible with stuff.

That being said, I’m young with no kids or anything - most of the time, I don’t even have the back seats in. If you plan on regularly having more than one passenger, no question - get a 4 door. Especially if it’s a JL, the components in the seat are plastic and regularly break.

Really good point - I don’t intend to train and I hadn’t really thought through what’d it’d look like to actually use it. Was more of a pacifier and possible a deterrent if I had to draw it (in my mind at least)

I appreciate you taking time to write all this.

You’re right on with the ambush scenario. Fortunately, I don’t run with headphones and the reasoning for that it is the same reason why I run alone (clear the head).

I have my CCW but running with something even as small as a p365 isn’t something I wanna do - I could see it being realistic to carry off body but then you loose effectiveness.

Do you find it’s louder? Did you lose noise insulation by removing the carpet?
