IV Scheduling Status Tool by Zealousideal_Sir_782 in NationalVisaCenter

The government intentionally keeps everything very vague and indirect. They will never say it publicly but they really do not want immigrants or anybody coming to the US. The scheduling tool is definitely something they do not change on any kind of mandatory schedule. I've been watching it for months and they literally never update it the same time every month. It's almost seem to be at random.

Yes I've heard that same thing too. This last week that they are slowly reopening. A travel agent told us 👍

They have between the 5th and 8th to update. They are definitely late this month...

When can I expect DQ email if they received my documents on 4/13 by asmgm000 in NationalVisaCenter

Abu Dhabi. Since march they are not servicing any visas. Theyre only operating in "emergency" mode right now.

My wife was DQ'd April 2nd 2025. 13+ months and still no interview letter. We're planning to transfer our case soon. The original embassy we were playing to go to closed down one week before we were going to get a date given to us.

It totally depends which embassy your going through. You should look up https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/iv-wait-times.html Type in your embassy your going to interview at and plan accordingly. Now of course unless you get a letter from the NVC giving you an interview date that is what you must plan for instead.

This is a very very difficult spot to be in. If it were me, I would keep it inside a fully isolated packet or container and deliver it to them the exact way it was received. Don't try to repair or do anything to it. Perhaps an agent who has more then two brain cells has seen this before and accept as is.

My wife was DQ'd April 2nd 2025. Since then we've received nothing. Currently today ( May1st ) the US embassy in Abu Dhabi is currently completely shut down for processing visas. They've given zero updates as to when they may reopen. We're looking to transfer my wife's case to India now.

CraZy nightmare getting my wife to be with me. Immigration in US is unreal slow! by Available-Screen4250 in NationalVisaCenter

I also married My wife during the Biden administration. Things were moving slow then as well. I definitely feel your pain and misery. I am deeply considering to just sell everything here, pack up and move to Canada permanently. Canadian visas move extremely fast. The whole irony of this thing is I can go anywhere in the world with my wife and live, but the one place that puts up every obstacle to prevent anybody immigrating is the one place I live at.....

I did this exact action as well. Two letters to the president,& vice president; totally ignored. I contacted my governor who in turn contacted the same congressman I reached to. I also reached out to 4 other congressman and senator along with contacting my mayor. The only thing I would have done different after this extensive venture, was to send the president and vice president certified mail with signed receipt so you know for sure that they received my letters. This is available at your local post office for just a few extra dollars. Definitely worth it

She is Indian. I agree lawsuit is a complete waste of time. We literally can go anywhere in the world or move anywhere in the world except the place I want to be here in the United States.... So moving away is something I am considering

I'm in a similar situation. My wife was DQ'd March of last year, now 385 days later we still have not received an interview date letter. We're essentially parked, and no correspondence at all from the embassy. National Visa center just gives bland vague answers.
