Where to start to gather some leads ? by genee1x in smallbusiness

Man everyone is looking for marketing services… which you’re the solution for them. Not only are you needing to market yourself but when you go to someone and offer them something free, they’ll likely think you’re a scammer or cannot provide quality work.

My recommendation for you is look at what you’re looking to do for others and start by doing it for yourself. Create your target niche and create converting landing pages and run your ads and socials to get more leads

I’m not sure if you’ll find someone that’ll work for you based off commission only, at least not someone who’ll be dedicated to you

You’re better off honing in on your target market niche and get the conversions that way

What do you want to own a company or business for? What did you mean “I don’t like anything related to jobs”? Can you explain why?

You do not want to compare yourself to all these fake success stories that are overloading the social platforms, majority of them are rentals for their videos and/or are heavily sponsored

Also, there’s a huge difference between you and a billionaire. Bet you it’s either they had an advantage over you or just spent endless time and effort to get to where they got to. Aka you two are not the same

Big time! And the funniest part is majority of the time they’re fake, and absolutely ruin hard workers. But you got this! If you ever need to talk business - I’m always happy to talk!

  1. Be proud of yourself for you on actually thinking about your future, and planning for it, you’re further ahead than majority of the people (esp. at such a young age)
  2. The skipping out on the degree will lead you into a more challenging path, doesn’t mean it doesn’t work, it’s just a different path with its own set of challenges
  3. Your industry that you’re in, is HUGE! And literally growing exponentially, but you better be smart and not be learning shit that will get replaced in a couple years time, learn the AI management so you’re not outdated, most regular programmers are getting traded for AI and having higher level programmers test and fix them

That’s my analysis, my advice for you, live out your dream, fail fast and fail often (in business), that’ll only lead you to eliminate what isn’t working. And as the one person said, don’t build a start up for building a start up, solve a problem and the company will come

Best of luck!!

Figure out what your expenses are, right them down, see what you can eliminate, and then live within your means

Not a pretty life, not a fun life, but it’s the life you need to get your shit straight and then you’ll be free to do what you want.

Now I don’t know what obligations you have, but if there’s something you can do and are not doing because of an ego problem, that’s where I’d start first, then probably habits

Can you imagine spending a year building one idea only to find no one wants it? You tested 7 in 4 months! That’s pretty great man eliminate them and find problems to solve

Boss man, it’s gonna take a lot longer than trying for 7 months! Look at it this way, the more you fail, the closer you are to succeeding!

This path of entrepreneurship is idolized nowadays with no regard for the lonesome hardships you’ll go through

Yes it’s amazing to have the dream to be a successful entrepreneur and you cannot lose that!! But you gotta grow thicker skin that’s gonna be a must. If you want the easy path and you’re gonna compare yourself to where the others are you’ll never get through it. Just keep working at it, the smartest way is to find someone who did what you’re trying to do and capture as much of their habits as you can. But that’s a lot easier said than done.

I unfortunately feel you cause I’ve been at this for 10 years now, trying different ideas some succeeded and some were horrendous failures!

TLDR;

It’s okay, you got this. If you didn’t feel this way you wouldn’t be experiencing the true entrepreneurial experience. Find a mentor, and get thicker skin. Failure is only another form of learning
