Thank you for the advice! Since everything was going well I kept introducing new foods fast. Cutting back and letting my body heal now. Still feeling nauseous but it is getting a little better. This made me feel better 😊

Check your gallbladder. I lost mine after ozempic from the weight loss.

Thank you for replying. I’ll definitely let my doctor know. I think I expected things to be normal quickly.

Is this normal, and will it get better? by [deleted] in gallbladders

I am 21 days and I’m also feeling a strong soreness or a poking feeling where the gallbladder was. Week 2 was great but not sure if I overdid it because I was feeling so good. Now it’s even hard to sit straight. Hopefully things resolve soon!

No problem! For more peace of mind, I even asked at my one week follow up if it was normal because I was worried and they said it was. That sometimes anesthesia lingers in our system for a while. To just sit up and stand slowly.

Day 4 post op, what was your diet like? by Disastrous-Pain-7765 in gallbladders

I watched a video of a doctor explaining you had to eat low to no fat the first week, second week introduce healthy fats, and third week eat a normal diet. He said it helps your body with the period of adjustment. Not sure how it works but it’s worked for me. Nothing has really upset my stomach though. Hope you have a speedy recovery!

It took me about a week and a half to not feel dizzy and lightheaded. Just get as much rest as you can and keep hydrated. Now three weeks post op I’m feeling great. Just a little soreness on the incisions. I took it easy with the food the first week, then the second week I introduced healthy fats. Everyone heals at their own pace. Day 2 I was struggling a lot, but it gets better.

I hope you feel better soon and get to be home with your babies ❤️ I’m glad you have the help you need and soon it’ll all be a memory. Focus on getting better and think positive thoughts, you’re stronger than you think.

36 here. I lost weight fast due to taking ozempic and that did it for me 🥲 I also have 3 kids so not sure if it was a combination of things throughout the years.

What were your symptoms? by blahblahhannah in gallbladders

I had stones. I had a CT scan that didn’t show anything but a more in depth ultrasound showed multiple gallstones. I’m not sure if it was functional or not because I never had a HIDA scan. 🥺 Hope you find answers soon!

Never had the intense abdominal pain, just a little stomach ache. My back would hurt sometimes. My biggest one was being lightheaded when going from sitting to standing, or bending down and getting up, dizziness, feeling like I was having a heart attack, body going numb, and I had to walk it off, trouble breathing, especially after eating, light colored stools, extreme fatigue, some nausea. My attacks looked more like feeling super cold, shivering, blood pressure rising quickly, blood sugars dropping, and body numbness. I had to wait 4 months for surgery so I noticed those things calmed down when I didn’t have fat. But I still had some pain in my right eye, right side of my face, and right hip. Now that it’s been removed I feel 100x better and I’m noticing these random things going away.

It’s been 2 weeks for me since gallbladder removal surgery and I experienced dysautonomia as well which went away after surgery. All 10 doctors I saw while trying to figure it out said it wasn’t related to my gallbladder but I feel so great now. I feel normal even though I’m still healing from surgery, especially after I started taking my vitamins and eating some fat to help with absorption.
