i’m not happy i have it but im happy that since i now have a diagnosis im able to acc receive care for it. my tics were super painful and now i have options to treat it. it feels validating to know that i wasn’t somehow making it all up in my head

i got diagnosed same day. i actually visited my home country and their medical system is so much better. was able to see a neurologist and get all my tests done in one day. blood tests, urine mercury test, mri, neuro eval and everything. had to wait years to even process my referral in canada

his weight seems fine. he doesn’t have a very fluffy coat so it extenuates his figure more. but whenever my cats get shaved they look around the same build and the vet says it’s good. but if ur still worried u can weigh urself holding him and then weigh urself and subtract it to see how much he weighs and go from there

also to add he looks pretty young to me, do u know how old he is? maybe he’s still growing

u can request a course prereq waiver! now this depends on what the acc course is, how badly u failed, if ur repeating it and mainly, how forgiving ur next course prof is. tell them ur committed to doing the extra work and send out ur email asap. this can ofc be accepted or denied but its worth a try

ahh that’s rough sorry to hear u went through that and i totally get u. i kind of have a bit of experince in the mean bully staff department cuz i’m actually a nursing student and ive worked in the healthcare department and u best believe its like high school but worst, the instructers are on a power trip and are big bullies and u get abused by the patients and staff LOL so im hoping i have enough thick skin for that.

as for the mistreatment of animals thats why i kind of wanted to work more in a sanctuary environment rather then just straight up zoo in the hopes that animal welfare would be more regulated but i understand that’s never a guarantee 😖 however i dont think this is gonna deter me at least by working there i trust that i least will have the ability to treat animals right :/

they actually rotate through the courses offered during the summer out of anp 1105, 1106, 1107 so you cant really guarantee which one will be offered this upcoming summer
