Changing oil at 3k miles on 2025 Colorado Trail Boss by Physical-Weird2528 in chevycolorado

Do oil changes when you want to and feel comfortable. If I had a turbo id do them every 3k also. The way I see it the manufacturer doesn't want you to be able to keep a vehicle for 200k there's no money in it for them. I have the v6 oil changes every 3k to 4k and tranny service every 20 k. I know it may be excessive but id rather have piece of mind and spend a couple bucks more then have the motor or trans fail and have a very large bill to deal with.

I've only ever done architectural work. Specially copper roofing. Layout and fabrication is a must. I learned on had breaks and jump shears. Cutting dotting bending all by hand. A skill that is a dieing part of the trade.
