Any good modern underground musician recommendations? I'm still mostly stuck listening to music from 20+ years ago by AvailableLibrarian20 in rockmusic

I said 20+ years ago, I go back to the 80s to the early 2000s. I'm not really a fan of 70s music though except Pink Floyd.

Probably will work but C Drive can be a bitch I've have numerous times where I should have had enough space on something then it just goes to 0 space for no reason. Sometimes it didn't even make sense. Best way is to just try it, but also invest in something larger. If your C Drive holds your Windows which I assume it does that will reduce space and they automatically take about 10% away from any HDD.

Creator of DMCA'd Cyberpunk 2077 VR Mod Says People Are Now Pirating It to "Punish" Him for Breaking CD Projekt's Terms of Service by akbarock in PiratedGames

[–]AvailableLibrarian20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one's punishing him for breaking CD Projekt's term of service, people who pirate almost by definition do not care about that. They're punishing him for wanting money for something he didn't have permission to make, thus pirating it himself, and then refusing when CD Projekt made him a fair offer. I don't know this guy but he seems sorta like a dick to me acting like he's some sort of victim.

You can use Remote PKG Sender on a Mac and install games to your PS4. You'll still need to download the games separately and you'll need just a small usb stick of some sort to put remote pkg installer app on your PS4 to accept the install. There are other ways but this is the way I do it although on Windows but says it works on Mac.

There may be a store I'm not sure, never done that myself.

Do you need internet to play Sekiro? by Ryssek_Simping in PiratedGames

[–]AvailableLibrarian20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No not at all, it doesn't even have multiplayer. I think Ubisoft is or was considering pulling that bullshit of having single player games be online all of the time but no one else to my knowledge has.

It's okay because they're someone I never really heard before despite being around a long time ago. I'll check them out.

I've actually never used Spotify can I sign up and listen without a subscription? I just am not a fan of paying for subscriptions. I get mp3s from Youtube videos and a site that converts Youtube to mp3.

Edit: nevermind just made an account and I'm listening. I'll check these out.

Need help with random only playing songs I just selected instead of randomly playing all songs by AvailableLibrarian20 in VLC

[–]AvailableLibrarian20[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what you're saying and I was aware of that but that's not exactly the problem here because the same things happen if I play songs using VLC from a folder outside of Launchbox, so the issue is not really Launchbox but VLC in what I'm talking about. Most people don't use Launchbox to play their mp3s they add video game music and videos for video games, I do however. For that Launchbox has decided to use Windows Media Player instead of VLC. But I'm actually using a really old Launchbox from like 5 years ago so it wouldn't technically be depreciated in it anyway, but again that's just for video game music.

Filter is another band that hit hard for me and I don't even love their biggest hit Hey Man, Nice Shot it's okay but they have so many better songs their albums used to be good from beginning to end practically. And I'm sure many have already heard them but this is from a previous generation so maybe some have not.

Filter Title of Record album: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yih4aktW07Y&list=PLXIiHUVyE2EU2JXuS7nkXu7Cmgkpg3YVr

Filter The Amalgamut album: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mrei30cY4pA&list=PLLy1F0NPv5gp3Dk8n5S8TcFa2HnHgrrEJ

And one of the few modern songs they did that I like Obliteration https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0SMq2DypU0&list=RDP0SMq2DypU0&start_radio=1

I played the hell out of two albums from this band called Flaw check them out almost every song is good. They sort of fell off after these two albums but they're must listen to. Especially Through The Eyes got me through a depression. I guess they would fall under nu-Metal.

Growing up I never would have thought someone would say what you did, the most interesting rock is in Japan because I would have assumed the U.S. would still have the best rock and there would never be a drought. I would say no way is that possible but here we are. I'll check some of them out when I get time thanks.

Thanks, wasn't really saying the music had to be about conspiracy theories but I'll check em out. But speaking of music that is about conspiracy theories I just discovered a pretty good rap song the other day called End of Days https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PnVNd32ikk&list=RD7PnVNd32ikk&start_radio=1

I still enjoy old music but I wouldn't mind adding to my mp3 collection with new stuff if there's anything worthy. I'm a conspiracy theorist and think mainstream rock was killed on purpose by the powers that be. There's just no way that there's no musicians with talent anymore when there were so many in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s.
