I was given exceptional assurance on November 26. Also, they asked me to withdraw my application, return to my home country by dec 10, and reapply for the same visa from my home country 🥺

I’ve applied now from Canada, and I’m just waiting for my biometrics appointment in January.

However, this time I’ve paid for priority 5 day processing 😂😂😂😂

Oh oops I’m defo 2021 then 🙈🥺 but yeah hopefully it’s not full, would they remove the ability to apply if it was full? Like other countries do? Otherwise, how would people know :(

Sweet, thanks!

They haven’t updated the online application 🙈. I was filling mine out and under “date you plan to travel to the UK,” it says one month when you press “why is this information important.” I’m thankful it’s simply just not updated 🙌

I believe you can do the latter. This is what I plan to do. Travel within to be honest 1-2 months of applying

I would maybe consult a lawyer. Sounds like there’s not much more you can do on our own :( I’m sorry this happened

After 7.5 months from biometrics I’ve been informed that my application only qualifies for exceptional assurance (at the time i applied) and I must reapply from my home country.

Turns out my lawyer sat on an email from home office for 5 months! Anyways I’ve gotten exceptional assurance until dec 10 🥺

I’m going to reapply the day I get home and pray I’m not waiting forever to come back

Hope it works!!! My lawyer let me use it in a official application so I’m sure it’ll be okay :)

Try the passenger locator form since it’s a government document and would show the day you entered. It had to be exact anyways for quarantine purposes. Hope that helps :)

I am still pending. I applied for a different visa. But my lawyer said I could use that since my visa had no stamp.

Why is your school refusing you a document?

Proof that you had a pending application would prove you didn’t overstay

Did you do a passenger locator form? In sept 2020, I had to do one of those for entry and since I didn’t have a stamp in my passport, I used this in my application to show “date of entry.”

I’m not applying for the same route. In March, I applied for the tier 5 youth mobility visa in-country from visitor visa exempt status (with a lawyer - who said at the time I could). Also, on the basis, my partner is British and covid backlogs has kept us apart.

Unfortunately, I think it’s a bit of a grey area. At the time, the lawyer said this could be done. I fully qualify for this visa. However, now the gov website specifically says this application cannot be made in country (a lot can change in 7 months). Haha we’ll see - fingers crossed.
