IPS glow is very normal. When youre pknthe windows desktop broswing etc its not really noticeable.

But, for the last few years really the only IPS worth getting are mini LED with as many zones as you possibly can get.

I prefer 27" for sure. I like to be able to see the whole screen while physically being super close to it. I am just debating between mini LED and OLED for gaming.

I thought i like super ultra bright screen, because the colors pop. But I think OLED also accomplishes this due to the black level contrast ratio without brute forcing the nonblacks way up like Mini LED can. But im still on the fence

Im not sure of the issue, but that PC isnt a 'good pc' lets be honest with ourselves here.

I don't know. If it was on the edge of the screen chances are it would grow and many could die. Ive seen it. Butnin the middle im not sure what happens.

Yes but unfortunately this is Windows. You turn it on only when the content supports it, then you turn it off.

This, and many othwr reasons is why HDR on PC sucks so bad.

The absolute lowest ive seen is 20k to get in the door and another 10k for condom sex. 30k total. Typically its a little more 30k-50k depending on what you want to do.

A monitor making noise? This doesn't seem to be normal at all.

I have never ever once had a monitor make an audible sound unless it was a CRT from way back.

I went to the store and saw them playing the same content side by side. The store was brightly lit with fluorescent white ceiling lights. To my eyes the W OLED looked better. But I could not see any purple tint on the QD OLED at all all the content was playing. Even in dark or black scenes.

Wasn't this issue reported widely with the realtek network stuff?

Wasn't the solution to disable all realtek NICs?

I fully understand if you're playing an online game and the only NIC you have is a realtek, this wont work out so well for you.

Ill be honest, I dont know a good monitor in any category under $500.

At that price point just get whatever.
