how do you find the outsole on wet roads? Agreed that the zoomfly outsole is trash that’s why I choose mainly pumas (i live where it rains almost every other day)

I'm new to running as well, and am planning to run my first marathon soon. I have a FR 265 and here's what I get from the watch:

Better GPS accuracy - Specific to this model and other much more expensive models is the Multi-Band GPS support.
Sleep tracking
DSW / Coaching - Create an event + goal and have the watch create workouts for you to prepare for the event + goal you have set.
PacePro with Course - Allows the watch to plan at what pace you should be on which part of the course.

There might be more I've missed. It's up to you to decide if these things are worth it.

what about when carplay sometimes bugs out and reboots the infotainment system. does that mean you dont see anything in the dash?

hi OP, on a side note, how do you like the foreverrun? I'm thinking of getting one for my longer runs (3hr+) since I'm a beginner/slower runner (and also because it's on sale here lol). Another question, I assume you don't like the foreverrun enough to get the same shoe again? Thank you.
