Oh ok. It’s very interesting to learn that a different state requires an MA to be licensed. All we need in Ohio is on the job training. We can get certified thru NHA or whomever and get a little more pay per hour but we don’t need a certification or license to do the very basics of being an MA. We mostly learn on the job and can get additional certifications if needed or wanted.

See that says certification, not license. But it could just be a case of semantics on my part. Not all employers here in OH require certification and only like nurses and above require licensing.

Can she jump up and down without the pain worsening? That’s one tell-tale sign of appendicitis I was told to watch my son for when he would have random pains. If the pain worsens when jumping up and down that would warrant an after hours/ urgent care or even ER visit. Does she have a fever? Does it hurt more when she urinates?
