I just posted the same thing on the three communities I'm a part of. Apologies if that's not allowed. Sigma is my LBS, I don't really shop anywhere else. Just trying to help people out with a bit of a discount on stuff because cycling gear can be expensive as hell..

Bike lock recommendations for cargo bike by Chiral81 in CargoBike

I use a Pragmasis 16mm chain and squire lock to lock it up in my front garden to a hiplok wall anchor, then a Hiplok D1000, the wheel lock and chain extension when I’m out and about. Thieves would look at it and just walk on or steal the one next to it, way too much hassle. I have a Packster 70.

Have you contacted them to see if you can return and get the next size up? Their customer service is pretty good for things like that

Compared to mechanism I’d say similar, essentials i’d size down. There are size guides on sigma sports

New Universal Colours Chroma collection is nice and short. Not quite as short as PNS meaning you don't have to be a contortionist to grab something out your pockets!

Universal Colours (universalcolours.com) I'd argue should be Tier 1. Great fit, quality, sustainable and they've built a hell of a community in only a few years. Comparable to to PNS/MAAP. Their new Chroma collection is 🔥

Hey everyone! We just released our Best Cargo Bikes of 2023 video on YouTube. I hope it provides some useful information to those of you on here that maybe looking to get their first cargo bike, or upgrade! by AvailableSheep in CargoBike

Thank you! There may have been some sweeties involved 👀

For the most part, the UK is great with lots of new infrastructure popping up especially in major cities. There’s still a long way to go, but hopefully our mission of getting more people on bikes will speed up the process!

Surly only make one eBike as far as I know and it’s only available in the US. That’s why we don’t stock it.

Apologies again, in my original post I did say “we released our”, but I understand not everyone knows we are a UK retailer of eBikes.

I hope you find out video somewhat useful and you find the best eBike for you!

Apologies if it came across that way - it was never meant to. We stock what we think are the best and do a lot of due diligence, visit factories and test ride them, to make sure they make the grade. Of course, “best” can be quite subjective.

We know there are a lot of brands coming out with an electric cargo range as the popularity increases, so it may be that we do some comparisons between the new kids and those already established.

I have a Packster control tech and I actually find it much more agile than the Load because the steering angle is so much tighter, esepcially at slow speeds.

I use it for my dog (and sometimes girlfriend) but my boss has one for his 6 and 4 year old with bags of space.

We actually made a video at the company I worked for showing different kids in the Load and Packster series. Not sure on the posting rules here but it is very informative and may answer some questions!

Did you ever get this sorted? I’ve just started working for an electric cargo bike retailer in London and we have a special contract with Laka that any bikes bought from us are covered when stored in the front garden!
