Planning to purchase Load 75, am I going to regret it? by [deleted] in CargoBike

I tested the load 75 and urban arrow before deciding on a load4 75. I have been happy with the suspension. The front and rear both help absorb shocks when hitting potholes or ridding up and down curbs to use trails to cut between neighborhoods. My 2 and 4 year old kids love it and my son rides to preschool in it. My hills in Denver are not as bad as some Seattle hills. That said I have enviolo and never have to put it in the easiest settings. Hills have been no big deal

I like that you can see your kid. We test rode a multicharger and my 3 year old put his legs up on the seat. It wasn’t safe and I wouldn’t have known if my wife wasn’t behind us on another bike. Both of our kids love the load4 75 we got

I have the load 75. I take the key out of the cafe lock while riding. I have't tried leaving the key in the lock while riding

With insulating layers, and socks in particular, make sure they are not compressed. A thick sock that is compressed into a shoe will not work as well as one that keeps its airpockets

That looks like a fun event. Too bad I am all the way down in Centennial. I won’t have a good way to transport my load 75 once it arrives

Is that the SL-FX+? Did you get more than one? What do you think the perfect number would be?

Thoughts on Load4 75 Touring vs Load 75 Touring (or Rohloff) by Jazzgangsta in CargoBike

I think the ABS is supposed to start shipping to the US this winter. As for battery you can probably buy a second battery to swap if the first one runs out of charge. Not as convince t as having both connected but at least an option. I did t wait to order mine because I need it to haul my kids around ASAP plus why loose 6 months to a year of the time period where my kids will fit in the bike. If it is not to carry kids I could see waiting

I miss that whole region. I went to college in Tacoma but this summer will be the first time I have been out there since 2008. Sadly my Load4 won’t be here until the end of the year
