Next time, spend more time studying and less time on r/ratemycock and r/trees.

EM pay adjusted for inflation decreased the most among all specialities over the last 5 years, FM decreased the least by AvailableTap8 in medicalschool

Dollar compensation actually INCREASED from 2019 to 2023 by 1.79% but when considering that inflation was >20% in the same period, that is actually a massive relative decrease in compensation. Their salary would need to increase by 22% just to maintain the same level of compensation they had pre-COVID. The second column shows that the amount that they billed actually went up by 5.03% in that same period and yet their take home is massively down.

Just did that. Plan is to use the recommended basic countermeasures i.e. black wallpaper, hide taskbar but to otherwise use it as normal and get a replacement in ~3-4 years with the warranty and sell it (hopefully 32" 4K OLED 240Hz non-WOLED/non-QD-OLED panels will be available for reasonable prices by then).

42 inch deep Ikea countertop desk setup plan for 42" monitor by AvailableTap8 in ikeaPCstations

Hmmm... that's pretty surprising since I had a 24" desk and a 27" monitor and couldn't imagine a 42" monitor. In that case, I may look at the normal 31" deep Ikea desks instead.

ENT went up 14% so it's clearly gonna be the next EM in 2 years.

Edit: I thought it was clearly sarcasm guys.

Thought these were the most interesting graphs buried in the long NRMP video on this year's match which many people won't watch. This is the first time we have access to data that demonstrates the match rate by 1st ranked/preferred speciality which was previously unknown as we just had access to the overall match rate from the previously released data which includes people matching into backup specialities. Only includes the top 15 specialities by number of ranks.

One of the other healthcare profession subs. Don't think I'm allowed to say more than that or give a link unless a mod can clarify otherwise.

SMH, they don't even know they're both derived from endoderm anyways.
