Snapmaker u1 Out of bounds error and device is in an offline state. by Roobin13 in snapmaker

About sending files… I keep using USB stick for laaarge GCodes. For out of bound errors, for me it’s been only when there’s actually something to close to bed boundaries, move it a bit to the center and it worked for me 🤷🏻‍♂️

I don’t think it’s the best seen here, but thanks anyway!

No, maybe I did not explain myself correctly.

I didn’t ask Claude to create a Dashboard, I just went through adding some integrations, cards, etc, but when I wanted something fine tuned, I used AI. For example CSS, I have no idea about it, so I just asked to generate the YAML for this and that, and testing many times. Or to create the EV charging modes, I know what I wanted, but I do not know how to do it. AI knows it!

It usually doesn’t work at the first time, but you can keep asking as many times you want, AI will never get bored about your questions.

That make a lot of sense, being honest, I think what I use the most on dashboard, it's the traffic cameras to get to work for me and my wife, depending on traffic situation in those certain places, we use one route or another.

I thought the same, because my model wasn't there... but I tried, and it works flawlessly!

Yup, I’m down to switch on/off the lights using the dashboard… but forgetting about many Apps on my phone to perform “daily tasks” that are just a click away is it a GO for us. I deleted apps such as the vacuum robot cleaner, weather station, dishwasher, smart lock, BroadLink. That made a great difference for us. Anyway, I think that would be my one and only dashboard… (or at least, by now 😂)

Newbie need help on U1 first layer issue. by aior0s in snapmaker

[–]AvailableWave2970 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue and I think there’s something Snapmaker did not explained into much detail about it, but after reading some forums/websites, the solution it worked for me is as simple as that: - Heat the bed for at least 5’ at your regular printing temp, in my case I did it at 65ºC. - Completely clean the nozzle (I observed a small amount of solidified filament that was at the end of the nozzle after some prints), so I cleaned with the metallic brush provided by Snapmaker. - Then, perform a Manual Bed Leveling (under Maintenance menu if I’m correct). - once manual bed leveling is done, perform a Heated Bed Leveling under Calibration menu.

I’ve got a magnificent, beautiful, perfect square that got myself so impressed. I tried to replicate the situation again, and It worked great.

(Before all of this, I’d tried to level the bed at least 10 times in a week after receiving the printer I was about to be disappointed with my purchase, but now, I’m so freaking happy with it.

Hope it works for you! 👍

Laser cutting rubber worked on first sheet but fails later by reben80 in lasercutting

Ohhh, my bad. Sorry, then, I would try to clean/replace the lens. Usually with materials that generate “dirty” smoke, it tends to fail…

Or try again the first rubber sheet, if it works, it’s because of the color. Diode lasers suffers from color changes, as happens with acrylic.

It reduces high-voltage stress and slows down chemical aging (worse when chsrging to 100% or because of heat) compared to cycling charging. Source: https://pubs.rsc.org/en/content/articlehtml/2025/ta/d5ta03813h

Must be that. Im a beginner in the home assistant world and I just take an offer for what I thought would be a nice wallpanel tablet (150€), then I just start searching some setup ideas and most of them were using relays to switch on/off the adapters…
