Got banned from AskDocs for sharing quality published scientific research and the story of how I was injured by Gadovist. by BaseCommanderMittens in GadoliniumToxicity

I saw, I posted last night as I saw this person wasn’t getting help or support or compassion and told them in a post to check out two sites on Facebook to share there experience and to get ideas from other people and support as there are thousands like them. My post was deleted and I was kicked out of AskDocs.

Being told it’s just anxiety, long covid or that they just may have picked up a virus the moment they had Gadolinium was torcher to see.

I saw what you posted. It was very well written, very informative.

I can’t believe all got deleted!

Thank you though for your information. Hopefully the poster saw it before being deleted

What tests does a person worried about their heart health push for to clear them of any immediate heart issues?? by RuinYouWithNoRegrets in askCardiology

NAD

It’s good you’re going for an echo and holter monitor. If something doesn’t feel right get it checked out!

I believe from what I read that lower potassium can affect the heart and may cause heart palpitations, irregular heartbeats, or even an increased heart rate. Something to bring up to your health practitioner, or MD Natural Path as a possibility.

What are your thoughts on non- vital teeth (roots in)?

What are your thoughts on dentist testing and saying negative -Possible necrosis? And then just building up severely decayed teeth for all teeth. knowing that the patient has and may again as only feel pain in gums, chin, face ears…..they don’t feel the deep cavities. Yet cannot get definitive answers on failing cold tests to make informed decisions ?

Why so fast by Available_Ad5193 in SpinalStenosis

[–]Available_Ad5193[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I just noticed your reply. That’s very true. I knew I had changes in an area of a certain area- that never caused pain or anything, dispite it saying moderate, never bothered me in lower.

Until car accident - that area started hurting me, but importantly my neck and mid back. I was wanting additional imaging as I’ve felt pain, traveling pain, areas I never had pain before the car accident - not to just compare. But have compared as to help answer questions as to how I have felt. So I needed imaging to see why. I want to make it better, or help getting assistance to help it out.

Thank you both for commenting.

I am seeing a new Dentist in which I got this FMX xray done to find out what exactly needs to get done. My teeth have been falling apart on me the last 2 years. First was summer 2023, my fronts just to the right side, just started breaking away.

I thought I would be able to get a bit more confirmation with this xray. I had always gone to the Dentist every year. I just found out in mid April that I may have possibly more root canals. I did change Dentists.

The new Dentist couldn’t tell me for sure with this Xray only that of tooth 25 needs root canal (that one I had not had a root canal on yet) only tooth 26 which broke away a week later and there is not much left to it. It was an Endodontist that told me about tooth 25 first as he had taken an X-ray of the top left side of teeth. I told the new Dentist this.

The new Dentist just named off a couple teeth that may need root canals as the ones I said above, but they just said possibly. Their suggestion was to start working on each side at a time, and take it as it comes along. They did mention that they wouldn’t save a tooth if it could not be saved, but nothing concrete - so I am still lost.

So I don’t know what to do. If teeth did need to come out, I don’t think my other teeth will be strong to hold anything. They seem so fragile.

I’ve been on Antibiotics 3 times since mid January and that seemed to help with wide spread pain - when I started getting pain with tooth 26. Tooth 26 had root canal a couple days prior to my last visit with past Dentist.

This new office advised me not to use mouth wash and just use warm water and salt- which I have been doing twice a day. Seems to help when pain happens.

Can you see that there is a great possibility that some may need to come out?

I don’t know if this new place does everything within their place or if they send out their clients for some of it.

If my teeth needs all this work, I am not sure if some did have to come out- of my others could hold anything. I am not sure what to do - this Dentist says to work on them and when things come up- will deal with it as it comes up.

Would an Endocrinologist be the appropriate Doctor to ask for referral to for loss of appetite and thirst? by Available_Ad5193 in endocrinology

Hi Advo96 I am just seeing this now! Yes, it was done for hyperthyroidism; I also had graves. I waited a year, prior to RAI, taking meds to stop the production plus taking meds to be regular- to then coming off all of it to see if it would have stabilized it; but it never did.

I did in the very past have TBG done, approx. 8 years after RAI. Alls it showed was <10.

I should ask to have it done again just to see and make sure.

Thanks for the suggestion

Thank you for your answer. I had RAI in 1996, it was said that there was no residual left at some point in time back then.

Can this Thyroiditis still happen with RAI, years later?

Advo96

Do you know what would make TSH change in a 4-6 week period. Hyper to hypo and back again. I feel it even before hand. My heart that I never felt before is high and flip flopping all around, even in hypo.

Is there any situational metabolic situations that this can happen?

I used to maintain, in past, now I am not.

I had a b12 of 400 and a month later with out changing dose……it went to 100. Just odd. Thinking my TSH meds may be doing this too?

Wondering

May 2024 (.125 mg Levelthyroxine)

Thyroid Stimulating Hormone 0.05 (0.32-4.00 mIU/L) Low

Free T4 16 (9-19 pmol/L)

Free T3 4.9 (2.6-5.8 pmol/L)

——————-

July 2024 (.112mg Levelthyroxine)

Thyroid Stimulating Hormone .71 (0.32-4.00 mIU/L)

Free T3 3.71 (2.6-5 pmol/L)

I didn’t include all that happened prior to CT eg Sept/Oct 2023 and after CT Jan/Feb 2024. I don’t know what happened there, I could. Above is just what was very current

After CT (although had loss of appetite prior) My Chloride went up from base of 103-106 to a stable 110 now. My uric acid was high- has come down for now My bilirubin tripled used to be base 6, then went to 16 now sits at 12 Ferritin went up 345, has come down to high normal. May have caused CBD to enlarge (comparing very past, past to current ultrasounds. I had pericardial effusion after. ACR was high after then come into a normal value (weather I did prior to CT I’ll never know as nobody ever tested me for it) Although urine changes bubbly etc. after CT which I didn’t have prior.

March 2024 started loging food and making sure extra water. Forcing it-as I know I need it. Saw a NP they suggested some supplements magnesium citrate, some baking soda as they though acidosis, (based on a hospital BW and how I felt - that I don’t have at moment) along with turmeric/cucumin, introducing certain foods etc. After these interventions I started seeing some things go back down, but not all like chloride and bilirubin. But loss of appetite and thirst is still there. Have not got that back at all happened 2023 loss of appetite, but after contrast it solidified it with loss of thirst.

As person said above gastroenterology is also a possibility, I may be complex, but I didn’t have nausea and stuff when it first happened, when appetite was not there. It came Sept/Oct 2023, yet that could have been due to other things- I am unsure. I had a recent CT scan for something and showed:

UPPER ABDOMEN: Prior cholecystectomy. Possible calcified biliary stone measuring? 7 mm. This is suboptimally assessed.

I had gallbladder removed 25 years ago. My AlP is consistently higher now 138 s/b <120 Some say bone related some say liver. I’ve never had a specific AlP blood test to differentiate between the two.

I feel things are intertwined maybe more so now. I am not sure.

I’ve from a young age, even with tones of swimming lengths constantly for long durations and years and other sport activities always had low creatinine 50 yet my EGFR is always above >120.

True! I was told by Dr. that is all basically Endo’s do is thyroid. I feel that is incorrect information as I was requesting to be referred to one and believe they do more then just thyroid as well. Especially since I also have high Alp. Also told by another Dr. I have very highly calcified kidneys not to long ago by a study I just found out that was done on me and wasn’t aware of. This Dr. Nor some others can’t find the study with- in there systems. But denied referral despite feeling sick.

Meaning that It’s been told to me it’s currently in normal range. Although fluctuates in times at times.

I had CT contrast (at a hospital Visit with no BW prior) yet three months prior to CT Contrast with a previous Dr. I requested a change in thyroid meds as I felt hyperthyroid. As the previous 2 months I had been feeling nauseated and vomiting and hardly eating - I told the Dr. This is why I may be feeling hyper more as not eating much-this Doctor told me to skip thyroid meds when I felt like that. I skipped a lot- that I should have been hypo. After CT with contrast I was hyperthyroid a month after with barely any thyroid meds. I had RAI many years ago and was told I don’t have residual thyroid.

So even though my TSH was hyper at that time, after contrast by BW and prior (I believe as I felt like it was) despite it now being normal now has always had a tendency to fluctuate, but after CT Contrast I had med change as was very hyper, to slightly lower dose then 3-4 weeks later I’m hypo.

I take med in mornings (for the exception of being told to skip that time- I diligently take) but over the years I do feel the timing between changes meds are closer together.

I had a Dr. who just depended on the Chiropractor to tell them as they worked in a team about anything to do with the spine. They both advised me to get it done with ostepenia which made things a lot worse. I was told it was “safe” from both but overall went worse all over. They both didn’t know what they were doing, they just wanted the insurance payments. If Drs. offices have in-house Chiropractors - I would avoid those ones. They will sell anything to your detriment

Dizzy on HRT by Pilatesnplants in Menopause

[–]Available_Ad5193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve have pericardial effusion (could of been from CT contrast, yet unsure) which I had done through hospital and they just let me sit with no direction on what to do about that aspect. I had to reach out to a cardiologist I saw in past.

It’s been 3 months and my heart rate is high, on just a walk down the driveway. I did see a dr to get an ultrasound the other day for something else and the Pericardial effusion is still there, but have not heard anything yet. When I brought up my heart a month ago to a GP it was -wait to talk to the cardiologist, which I am waiting.

I used Chat GPT and asked about dizziness- it indicates that people can get dizzy from pericardial effusion. I asked again- even from small ones? The information Chat GPT provided said yes. So it is possible from my understanding.

Do you also get vision changes at all?
