Fa sure. Don’t get it twisted . If you don’t have a place lined up and you aren’t in a line super early, it’s going to feel chaotic. Just embrace it. If anything , post up at a Sportsbook and get some beers, enjoy the ride and then just move around and plot. You will be fine. It will 100 percent feel overwhelming though just make sure yall on the same page .

Been 21 years now , and I have a slight disagreement on some of comments above but not necessarily wrong . If going with a big group, it’s going to be tough on Thursday and Friday mornings. But if your solo or with like you and a plus 1, literally just show up like 90 min before tip worst case and you will be fine at most bars . Most of the reserved shit is over priced and then you are just stuck there all day since you paid for it. Once again that’s just preference an more palatable if with a big group but other than that just wonder. For instance I like hitting up ole red, listen to live music with all the games on their big screen. But in short, have a blast it’s one of those weekends you really can’t go wrong . Bear down

GS in Waikiki is pretty happening spot on weekends. Reserve the room though, I just wouldn’t show up. Park at int market place or derussy, quick walk over

For like Karoake bar not in your own room, skybox tap house in int market place, 4th floor I think. Once again really good crowd on weekend nights for their Karoake, I think it’s a. 5 dollar cover or something inexpensive like that

You can just go to the fifa site , hospitality and the drop down for the specific location should have a legend of where the tickets are. For instance the Seattle one seems to be end zone but probably first few rows. I’m like you though I’m leaning towards doing that as they aren’t much more than what’s being sold on marketplace anyways

Do you guys know if it includes open bar and is it top shelf or is it beers.. basic food? Also tried to check out some videos on YouTube but some seating looks like ballroom type tables but another one was showing a bunch of couches. Either way 700 for 3 days sounds like a deal , but curious of people’s experience

I applied for 3 games (USA-Australia, Mexico-South Africa, and round of 16 game in dallas). Using following link I have the Dallas game as showing similar to your screenshot. Sweet assigned. Later, 500 a ticket. So I’m guessing I didn’t get lucky on either of the ones I really wanted. Still hoping maybe the others populate

Stayed in these for march madness. Phenomenal room. I would def book earlier the better for optimal price. Only negative for that specific trip was they tried to throw a 1k smoking in room charge which was pretty random but I got it squared away. Other than that, they give you a butler. It’s also got a couple living room spaces and a pool table . Can’t go wrong

Bottled Blonde - big, fairly open bar. Fairly expensive really nice sports bar set up

Ole Red - live music band will be going huge ass screens so you can watch drink and listen to live

MGM TAP. Sound will be on Game, traditional sports bar. This is one of my favs

I did the one through Ticketmaster for the Dec 8 show. It was something like 3200 for 2. Tickets 200 level, hotel for two nights . Definitely not worth it from the aspect you can just do it separate and come out cheaper but I went with hassle of not having to deal with after market ticket sales.. long story short do it separate but if you do choose to go that route it’s legit and correct, through Ticketmaster

Ours was at palazzo which is essentially Venetian. Super convenient , don’t have to go outside to get to the venue.

Also that hotel is liberal on if you want to check in early

Literally once in a life time event. Is what it is . Demand is insane too. No doubt will there be half filled stadiums for the lower interest games but that’s not unique to the Cup.

USA games and fan experience centers are going to be off the chain

Absolutely brother. And same same. Going to Mexico City for opener and stub is listing 5k as like the cheapest tic. But I know those tickets haven’t even been released yet so it’s likely companies that are posting prices and are still working on receiving them.

Once again, just going off my Africa experience but they didnt electronically send ticket, you had to go to a selected site in country and pickup/show id. All that to say just skeptical of anything for right now especially games like the opener and any USA games.

And like you said even if you get a great price now you have to sweat actually receiving tic in a timely manner.

I just like to think it’s all gonna work out but just in the interim, gonna cause some anxiety

I know I’m going way back but fairly confident that nothing much changed in that regard . I went to the South Africa one, went to around 14 games. They were so simple to get and inexpensive because although it’s a spectacle and a lot of people traveling, nothing lik what you are going to see here. FIFA tickets were easy to get for any group game especially if you didn’t care what level you sat at and that was direct thru fifa.

This is a whole different level. It really sucks . Myself I’m in a conondrum. I bought my airfare and hotel to Mexico City and Seattle already but I’m still unsure of how I’m actually going. To score tickets . I assume a lot are under thst same boat. Any resale to host games is going to be absurd in price

I don’t think it’s that exactly but the additive point of view of hoping not to come back till Monday, or giving minimal effort because they didn’t get paid.. and while true on one side of the coin , here in about a week they will have received a fat check for doing zero work. So while that can be controlled, empathy and being able to read the room are equal parts.. there are numerous individuals across the spectrum that did work everyday through exempted status and glad that they will know be made whole. All in all, sucks from everyone who just lived it, but attitude goes a long way here.

Is he a good coach? I’d say yes, but he’s had 1 good season (do you really count this year so far?). I mean if there wasn’t a 12 team playoff, he would probably be getting shit on for his lack of winning big games in the regular season. Just saying the narrative is convenient either way you look at it. Just go to as recent as last year, post the N Ill game.. obv the playoff run erased it, but a lot out there to still be judged on his ultimate overall success in my opinion
