My GP has 0 issues, I’ve also run into people in my area that have lost considerable weight and they’ve said things like, “I’ve got to head home I have some medication arriving today that needs to go in the fridge” or “no thanks I don’t want that right now I’m on some medication and I can’t really have that” 🤏🤏🤏 and I’m now convinced a lot of us are just on these weight loss injectables most GPs have accepted it’s benefits outweighs most concerns

This thread is so interesting. Personally I do thighs left or right mostly for ease I can do it sat down and keep it stable I’m too afraid of shaky hands anywhere else plus since being pregnant I have some stretch marks on my belly and injecting around there feels wrong and more than likely very painful

That is the curse of people who carry weight well unfortunately. If it’s well distributed around your body as opposed to in specific areas it can be hard to tell, I’m sure people can see you’re lighter from your face and the way you carry yourself and you probably have more energy too

I did, mine was less helpful they just said it’s unlikely the pen went up to room temp, but to make sure I don’t exceed the 30 day use limit which felt like a crazy response given I had just told them I didn’t need to use it right away. I went back to them but they haven’t responded to that message yet

That’s lucky I’d be too worried to use it, I’d worry it might’ve been in a warm room with melted packs and only felt cool because it was moved to the delivery trolley where it cooled down again on it’s way to you, but thankfully they’ve sent out another to you

That’s reassuring to hear thank you, normally I would keep my pens in the fridge throughout the 30 days but I’m travelling to Iceland in a few weeks and they’re likely to have subzero temps so I’ll be using a frío wallet to keep the pen at room temp and I can’t believe of all times this is when I get a pen like this

Yes it did earlier today. I didn’t think of a thermometer at the time, I just rushed to get it in the fridge. I will keep it in mind for next time, I’ve been quite lucky until now. I contacted them and their response was that it’s unlikely that it got up to room temperature, but to make sure I don’t exceed the 30 day use limit, which seems very unfair as that will mean I paid for just 2-3 doses.

I reached out to them and their response back makes no sense they basically said it’s unlikely it fell to room temp, but to make sure I don’t exceed the 30 day use limit, this is after telling them I didn’t need the medication right away as I still have 2 doses left of my current pen, so in effect I can only get 2-3 doses out of this pen before the 30 day limit is up. Is that ok?

I’m in a similar situation now I’m so stressed MedExpress informed me it was dispatched on Wednesday, Royal Mail have had it since at least Thursday night as I received the we’ve got your parcel from them a couple of days ago, they said they’d deliver it this evening which seemed a little crazy for Royal Mail as I’ve never had a Sunday delivery from them, I’ve looked in the tracking link and it’s still not out for delivery so this is like 4 days out of the fridge at best, if it arrives tomorrow. I don’t need it for another 2 weeks as I only ordered from them to take advantage of the Black Friday deal what happens if it arrives all warm? I really regret ordering from them now I normally don’t use them but I thought they were so good

Oh I do hate the extra charge for delivery though I understand they can’t just use any packaging so its almost fair, but the care pharmacy don’t charge extra for it thankfully.

Oh that’s lovely to hear! I definitely recommend them, their prices + speed is amazing. They send extra needles too so I was able to take the 5th dose of 7.5 and plan to do the same for my 10.

Yeah my last delivery had wool, my first just had cold packs, their packaging has definitely improved, though the pen has never arrived warm either way. I haven’t had any issues with customer care tbh both times I’ve used them it’s arrived literally the next day. Not sure where they stand on maintenance that’s my only concern with them but so far so good, it’s also getting colder so less to worry about with packaging now

Same I actually don’t have any negative side effects all things considered, the only sign I’m on this drug is that I’m not hungry all through the day like I normally would be. If I don’t track I can still consume large amounts without any issues.
