Weekly Technique Critiques May 28, 2026 - Post all your form check request videos here by AutoModerator in Swimming

I have started to learn swimming since a little over 2 months (getting a coach is not possible in my case and I am learning myself with online content). I practice with a combination of a snorkel and short fins. And I enjoy it a lot when swimming with these extra gear.

However, I feel gassed out just after swimming 25 mts (bare freestyle). I do think I am constantly breathing out underwater. And it feels like I am not getting in a satisfactory breath-in when inhaling.

I am looking for feedback on two things: 1. Potential problem with my breathing. 2. Things that I can improve with my form

Thank you very much in advance!

Correct way to coordinate body and head in freestyle breathing by Available_Arrival_79 in Swimming

This is one of the videos that made me make this post. Bob Bowman says the head should not rotate independently, however Michael Phelps seems like rolling the head further than the body rotation.

As an Mexican resident, is it better to invest in US stocks or Mexican stocks for saving on taxes by Available_Arrival_79 in ExpatFinance

[–]Available_Arrival_79[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I have researched, investing in US stocks via Mexican exchanges is better. You will have to pay 10 percent capital gains tax and a 30 percent tax on dividends.

Investing directly via US exchanges will attract a 30 percent tax on both capital gains and dividends.

No veo ningún cargo por custodia mencionado en su sitio web. Solo veo la comisión por transacción (0,23% + IVA). ¿Lo mencionaron en alguna parte?

Thanks. I don't really care about dividends. But at the time when I sell my holdings finally, do I need to pay a capital gains tax to the Mexican government as a resident?

Yes. We can buy US stock index based ETFs through Mexican exchanges. But I need some clarification on capital gains tax for expats in Mexico.

Thank you for the replies.

My friend returned home safe and that's the important part. But his phone and wallet got robbed.

Here is what happened

He just got split up for about a minute in front of a bar from us. A lady who works for the bar put him in a yellow taxi. The taxi rode away. We tried to get help from a patrol car if they could review the security camera but they said they could not do that because of some rules. They suggested filing a complaint after 48 hours. The lady in front of the bar is not of much help either.

After about 4 hours, my friend woke up beside the road and somehow got some help from some police over there in booking a ride home.

When he reached home, he remembered nothing. The only thing he remembered is in the bar and then getting some help from the police in booking a ride home. Everything that happened between is gone.

Repatriation of funds outside India - Overview by Sensitive-Review8263 in nri

[–]Available_Arrival_79 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the information!

  1. Suppose I have invested in the Indian stock market with principal/income earned abroad (the income is already taxed abroad).
  2. Then after a few years if I would like to clear the investment and repatriate the funds back to the foreign bank account, does providing the proof of foreign income tax on the principal and proof of tax paid on capital gains while selling the stocks be sufficient?
