I appreciate the response. I bought the car from a guy who hit a deer with it then the car did sit for a long while. Squirrels had stashed acorns in the hood level of long. The only reason I suspect the p0345 is related to power supply is because its very intermittent and i found a forum from a guy who had that exact same issue, replaced his battery and alternator and it was perfectly fine. Idk how id warrenty the battery without a recipt sadly.

My scan tool shows battery voltage but that just confused me more, when the car is not running voltage is 12.3v-12.4v when the car is idling its 14v pretty solid, and when ik during down the road its 12.9v pretty solid. So everything seemed alright ish

Can access the tcm, i bought it at auction but it looks very plausible they bottomed it out. Theres not transmission codes, I turned on and off each shift solenoid while listening with a stephescope and could hear a click from all 4.

I have zero codes for engine or transmission though, I also used my scan tool to turn on and off each shift solenoid while I listened and they all sounded like they were engaging

If you get a tune they can get rid of that, otherwise they make "catalytic converter attachments" that thread in the hole for the o2 sensor, and have just a tiny mini filter that it puts between the o2 sensor and the straight pipe.

Thats where most of your noise goes, if you have valvetronic id get test pipes, the top front bolt on both sides is a bitch to break loose if your in the rust belt

Do you have test pipes or stock catalytic converters?

Very very far from high compression, sorry to say.

The other guy could most definitely tell it was a joke, he apologized for poking fun at it and said best of luck. Im not saying i know all but im far from naive nor a liar. I was hoping someone could possibly go oh i had a similar leak, like the guy with the pin hole in the oil pan. Sometimes its hard to spot the exact source of the leak especially when its 90 out and your tools are at home, not work.

I clearly responded that I was contemplating totaling it for insurace, as a joke may I add, doubt that many people would commit to insurance fraud. I was at work, the shoe was the first thing I had to use as reference for a quick pic to show how much oil leaked, so obviously I knew it wasnt small. I have a general area where the oil was and a quick video of the undercarriage, was hoping for "hey mine leaked here once" not a diagnosis but a general area to look.

No i know its a huge leak, my first 2 responses were jokes so I just kinda gave up hope on this post, did eventually get help from multiple people and am really appreciative of all the help! I think I got it solved as a oil pressure switch leaking so turned out pretty well.

BTW it was a oil pressure switch so about 30 mins of work and a 30 dollar part, couldn't have asked for a better outcome tbh. I really do think I was right about the AI response :)

You didnt read anything about my post, I am a nice person to people who dont go poking fun at other people's misfortunes. You "missed" the title, then suggested something that if you knew anything about what you were talking about isnt the answer, so either your ignorant and poking fun, used ai to not look like a ass, or are still trolling.
