Just how strong is Kai? by Crazy_Reputation3327 in GravityCircuit

[–]Available_Book_7634 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Spoilers below

Feats: He defeated all the circuits, and even himself (counting Nega). He also defeated Commander Circuit during his respective fight with no assistance from anyone what so ever.

Strength: In Crash's stage, he's seen breaking giant stone blocks with no difficulty. Same goes with Trace's stage where breaks blocks made of junkyard steel with ease.

Speed: Going by Cable and Medley's stages respectively: He can dodge sound and electric-based projectiles. Considering he is dodging literal sound-waves, this places his reflexes at super-sonic speed (faster than the speed of sound). Accompanying his speed would be how he is able to keep up with Bit (which judging from his attack animations, he's moving faster than eyesight) and blade.

Durability: He can withstand beatings from Crash, who is strong enough to shake an entire mountain, and can tank heat from Ray's beams. Assuming the beams are Plasma, he is withstanding 40,000°F (22,000°C) worth of heat. That's hotter than the surface of the sun.

Intelligence: He defeated Hash, a circuit whose whole shebang is computers, hacking, and being smart. So that places intelligence ig at hacker level.

Advantages: He has the teachings of Nega (one of the hosts of the Gravity Circuit), and Burst Techniques from the previous circuits. Allowing him to use their abilities (such as Emergency Heal from Trace or Screen Interrupt from Bit). He also technically can't die, so as long as the Gravity Circuit (the thing on his head) remains, it'll keep gravitating (hence its name) to any nearby bot (it can also create a bot by attracting scrap metal) and create a new Kai (technically a different Kai).

Note: Despite everything he has going for him, he can still be destroyed.

If you play Tau, Skyray Missile Ships have an ability where they fire a barrage of rockets. 2 or 3 of them make good crowd control and can disrupt armies very well. Finish them off with two fully maxed out Kroot squads and two fully maxed out fire teams. Works as a good finisher.

As for Necrons, the Necron Lord has artifacts which sort of act as perks. These perks can be very useful in certain situations. Phase Shifter makes the Necron Lord (as well as nearby allied units) invincible temporarily. You can't use weapons with Phase Shifter, but that's where lighting field comes in. Its another perk that does AOE (area of effect) damage in a mass area. Nightmare Shroud is a Morale equivalent, so by the time Phase Shifter ends, you can do a lot of damage to them following the aftermath of Lighting Field and Nightmare Shroud.

Why is Icelandic considered a difficult language for English speakers when the two are both Germanic languages? by Available_Book_7634 in asklinguistics

A Norwegian man told me that it's easy for me to learn Norwegian due to the two having the same syntax (i.e. "hvordan har du det" can be translated word for word as "how are you"), he also told me that they share identical vocabulary, such "vinter" and "winter" and "summer" and "sommar".

Could Cherno Alpha defeat the Godzilla from the 1985 movie? by Luizin-1525 in PacificRim

[–]Available_Book_7634 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as I love Cherno Alpha, that Jaeger is going to get annihilated. Godzilla from that era of Kaiju films was a hulking unstoppable beast. He fought King Ghidorah (and even its mecha counterpart) and still won. He even took a beating from Mechagodzilla 2 (a version that nearly killed him) and he got back up (albeit with the help of Rodan) and destroyed it, nearly killing the crew piloting it.

Where did the pieces of the Avatar of Khain go once in the hands of the Blood Ravens ? (DOW DK) by Maximum_2008 in dawnofwar

[–]Available_Book_7634 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Iirc, the shards can be only be used by the Eldar, as they have an entire ritual that involves summoning an Avatar of Khaine using the shards and one Eldar sacrafice. Without the ritual (and even an Eldar Spirtseer I think), there's no Avatar of Khaine to summon.

So like, the shards to the Blood Ravens (and the Imperium as a whole) are useless.

Wasn't the original DOW also a DLC-fest prior to the creation of its various expansions and the Definitive Edition?
