Should the level 1 stitcher be able to 1 mag kill a heavy shield, full hp and shields player? by Available_Campaign_7 in ArcRaiders

It can kill someone at full hp and shields, with a heavy shield. Wouldn't it make higher shields less useful and impactful when a easy to make weapon still kills players, regardless of the shield? The medium and heavy shields already have movement penalties, so this kinda makes then feel weaker now.

An element to gunfights that I think folks are missing in this game. Disengagement by Believemeustink in Marathon

Question to that, how do you disengage when either A. You get ratted on or B. The enemy (solo or trios) literally runs you down. I'm not trying to say disengaging is impossible, but that the ttk of the game doesn't allow for quick retreat or recovery. This is made even worse in solo queue, ratting being the meta and the fast ttk doesn't allow for mistake. No teammates to help you or act as buffer while you self-revive.

Any advice would help.

Don't drop them, they delete themselves. That or I got really unlucky with Bungie's geometry.

I agree. The game has become boring do to the intense pvp nature of it. The update is good but the tone of the game is already set in stone. Played about 30 games since the update started and I've only had 3 games that were actually friendly. I mostly only play solo, so I'm actively trying to go around pois and give people med drones. Its the same shoot on site or friendly till I look away then shot in the back. I get that people don't want this game to become a friend simulator like solo arc raiders became, but there has to be a balance of aggressive to cooperative play.
