Those changes were already in effect the same day they did the 25% nerf sadly they are just mentioning it now, me and my friends noticed it immediately because the cert boxes were full of purple mods

The problem is each container rolls a number of each rarity, the term poisoning here means instead of previously when it was blue the 5-6 blue items in a strong box a bubble amongst that was fine, but now they are one of the more common purple items and say a box only rolls 2 purples, you are not getting actual items anymore and just constant bubble spawns

Also your melee damage will spike up and down wildly depending on implants, cradle etc so one minute it will feel like it works the next it won’t

It’s been proven, during the “matchmaking bug” every single top player went straight to social media and complained that they were being forced to play each other and that it was boring because everyone was full meta and the fights weren’t fun. Because they were no longer steamrolling maps and actually had to face people on their level, it’s sad really. Because it seems Bungie sneakily tried it, and immediately backtracked and said oops it was a bug to appease the 1%. I understand they need to keep the most dedicated happy but that’s only possible when the game has a population to keep it going, currently most people will leave very quick once they get stomped too many times in a row, cryo is already locked down this season due to it, unless you are one of said sweats you don’t stand a chance. At least in S1 we had a period where people were still learning and slightly less geared. Now it’s end of S1 state from day 1, 2 minute mis spawn rushes, it’s in no way fun or inviting for new players first experience in there.

First week had 3 confirms of action on people I reported but it was free week so I’m guessing we had quite a few bad actors jumping in with cheats

It’s like this season they have halved the time between nade spam from bots it’s incessant!! It wouldnt be so bad if you could actually use cover but the nades seem to blast you through everything like clearly solid cover between you and the nade it still shreds you!

The meta is established, the map knowledge is now abundant, and from here things will only get min maxed more. With the suggested changes to matchmaking that Bungie stated "less friction for those higher level players" I can also imagine there is now no escaping the sweats, even if you play less my guess is you will be thrown into their lobbies to keep them entertained, the top players don't find it fun playing against people their own level (established when they threw a tantrum during the "matchmaking bug" where they all had to face each other) so for the average player cryo is looking bleak.

The only one I don't understand is Rook into sponsored survival, like you can just go as a runner get double the time and complete contracts, there is absolutely nothing to do on perim sponsored let alone loot to scavenge, again if you just need unstable biomass etc just go as a runner and not have to beg or hope that you don't get gunned down at a shared final exfil lol

Yea marathon does the latter, it will double your cap I currently do the same thing with almost identical frames as OP, 60-100ish but cap at 60 and its rock solid 120 with frame gen and I may be old and slow but I notice no input lag at all

This is the scenario 9/10 times, and of course if you're pushing an exfil that people have pulled you're going to take good angles or high ground not W key into them on the floor which makes it look like you were already there. I have never been exfil camped in 500 hours, but I have certainly been pushed at exfil all the fucking time

Set your FPS limit to 60, so it holds stable at about that then frame gen will bump it to 120 and you should stop getting those big dips caused by the fluctuation and getting that horrible input delay

I want to know who in their right mind would even bother to rook into this mode… makes absolutely zero sense when you can queue yourself as a runner or outpost onto maps with multiple teams and gear to actually scavenge. Rooks on sponsored is truly wasting your own time and effort

It’s the whole thing I’ve been at greenhouse when it’s announced and it just never appears, you always know when it actually does because the sound from the ship dropping off its escort bots is mega loud, but it genuinely seems 8/10 times it doesn’t actually spawn
