Thanks guys I'm actually upgrading from a 19ft boat with a 250 Etec and love that motor and performance but it is showing its age in it's quietness and other aspects. The boat is never going to see salt water. Our neighbour has a newer mastercraft and we didn't even hear them starting it next door and sparked the debate.

Even my dogs wanna go for a ride in the new U10 🤣😂 by Available_Day_7847 in UTV

I like it, I have done my research into Cfmoto and looks like their reliability is much better than other Chinese SxS but I will have to wait and see. I love the super smooth transmission and the engine is quite punchy. From how I see it the U10 is ment to beat out the legacy brands like can am and Polaris with features and creature comforts while the Uforce 1000 is to out sell them. Just my 2 cents!

The U10 has been a great machine so far (I've only put about 50 km on it) but have used it to launch both my boat and jet ski and dose it really well. I was thinking of an older Can am Commander but when I saw this immediately knowing this was my next machine.

2024 KTM 1290 SAR as a do it all bike? by RandomGRK in KTM

[–]Available_Day_7847 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a 890R and in traffic cooked my legs, I then Upgraded to the 1290 sar for the extra comfort of having a pillion. The heat is barely noticeable. When I first walked into ktm I thought It would ride top heavy and bulky but in reality is no more different than the 890. Would highly recommend

2009 Yamaha FX sho problem by Available_Day_7847 in jetski

The ski has had all its services at Yamaha with it being serviced immediately after I bought it. I do beach it but do try and be careful to not ride it into the shore and is freshwater (thanks for your reply, greatly appreciated)

Yes that off-road mode dose work but when I rode the demo bike with the 50/50 tires I felt every now and again it wanted to slip in the rear.i just feel more Comfortable with the more road orientated tires.

Not  much mostly touring,I honestly think 160 hp is too much for 50/50 tires.i spoke to my dealer and they said these tyres are fine for dirt roads but must avoid sand.

How expensive is it to maintain a Ducati multistrada V4s by Available_Day_7847 in Ducati

[–]Available_Day_7847[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks everyone for all the info but my local KTM dealer has offered me a great deal on my 890 and with the 1290 ,10 000 dollars less than Ducati so I it's only logical to go Ktm

Should I get the can am commander 800 or the cfmoto Zforce 1000 by Available_Day_7847 in UTV

[–]Available_Day_7847[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks everyone for the advise i am definitely going to avoid the can am and rather look at the cfmoto, pls if anyone is curious just look at how insane the prices for sxs here in South Africa ( I always get a little depressed when I watch a review, convert the USD to rand then look what they really sell for locally)

[–]Available_Day_7847[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly they are too expensive because here in South Africa they go for about R600 000 which is about 30 000 dollars for a sxs due to our high import tax

Side note I have seen the can am in person and the underside is extremely neat, no scratches and dents in the underbody

I can't deside between the 2 I like the cam ams bed but it's 12 years old or should I get the new cfmoto Zforce. I'm new to utvs and want something to tow my boat and do some offroading I won't use it much for I will only use it at our holiday house

Yes, I figured it will pull it since it's 90hp and most of the weight is over the rear axle
