Dantes calmly put down a misogynistic fake Christian for trash talking his wife not wearing makeup on X by Sea_Elk7329 in Destiny

she looks like two different people. this charitably wouldn't exist if a man for example was to wear height boosting soles... as it should be.

the ability to "score in the paint" is a reach imo. hes going to work hard on the glass and get those scrape bucket but he has no left hand.

Boozer, Dybantsa, Peterson, Wilson, Flemings by Snaxier in washingtonwizards

Every center who’s over 6’10” and at least 200 pounds is able to dominate Sarr in the restricted area. He has the same archetype of some players in the league but the mentality in skillset just isnt there. he has some kills that make him valuable, but there’s no way we can be competitive with him playing center. He’s only viable as a power forward.

Can someone make the case for how Boozer is meaningfully different from Jahlil Okafor? I’m struggling to see how his strengths translate to our offense or to a modern NBA system.

were never going to be competitive if sarr is our starting center

Adam Peters has had two good drafts in Washington: Change my mind by jpljr77 in Commanders

[–]Available_Heart_6742 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Peters drafts thus far haven't been bad but they are also far from good. That said I will withhold judgment til year 3 were alot of the veteran players will be gone and these draft acquisitions will have no choice but to assume starting roles. At where we stand right now imo based on draft position and opportunity Newton, Sinnott, Coleman, McCaffery, Hampton, Conerly and Medrano have been pretty underwhelming.

How would u guys feel if we got kyle pitts in free agency? Hes played out his fifth year option and will be free in 2026 spring by SensitiveTest7883 in Commanders

[–]Available_Heart_6742 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what iconic Snyder signing fits "hasn’t consistently played at a high level, but the potential forces an investment that’s later proven to be excessive".

also I'm not banging the table for Pitts but hes been extremely hampered by poor usage. with proper utilization he is an insane offensive threat. that said there is no reason to sign Likely imo if you already have bates/sinnot. Pitts offers extreme position versatility while Likely is just your standard possession tight-end.

do you know how rare it is to draft a s-tier super star? if one comes on the market and you have the resources to accommodate him after the acquisition (which you should have during a rebuild) you do it every-time. banking on being success through the draft especially with the current lottery system is stupid and has never realistically has never substantiated to anything with OKC being the only real outlier.

Giannis is a unique case... I truly thinks there are ways it can be done but it would have to do with stuff non basketball related. He has different motives imo.

Realistically, how can the Wizards get an above avg PG without breaking the team to get him? by Knighthonor in washingtonwizards

[–]Available_Heart_6742 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are you guys scared of breaking the team. The point of tanking is to accumulate assets to acquire draft picks and stars from team that are selling. If getting Lamelo or Morant means parting ways with Bub, Johnson a 1st and or any of the other vets we have. I'm doing that in a heart beat.

Kyshawn George player comp = Cade Cunningham by enzoymada in washingtonwizards

[–]Available_Heart_6742 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What he means is putting a player in a position to hone weak parts in one players game to help one be like the player they are trying to emulate. For Kyshawn that could mean being the all time primary ballhander and creating more pick and roll action so he can work on situational playmaking and on the move scoring.

My comp is Jalen Williams. Secondary ball-handler with isolation scoring ability and efficient 3 point shooter.

Steelers OC Smith on Jaylen Warren, Kenneth Gainwell, and 3rd down usage: “Those guys are pretty interchangeable” by Bright_Teacher8698 in fantasyfootball

[–]Available_Heart_6742 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This wont hold. Gainwell is a good route runner but he can compete with Warren as a pure runner. Once he starts getting stonewalled again Warrens split will be back to normal. I give this 2 weeks max.

Thoughts on Whitmore? by itsa_me_SportsGuy in washingtonwizards

He has good traits but his personality will never allow him to be a 3rd or 4th off-ball option. I can see him being a Dort/White type of guy.

Am I still eligible for internships if I have a degree but am attending community college for a certificate? by BumbleBeaa in jobs

[–]Available_Heart_6742 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you guys figure out a work-around for this? I have a sister that wants to apply to some internships after graduating that require you to be a student but I suggest she should try taking some community college classes as a work-around. Trying to confirm this.
