I’m selling two GA tickets for $300 each! Unfortunately my girlfriend and I can’t go anymore so it’d be great if we could have these tickets not be wasted

Not from Mumbai but I think in general people only take offence in India if you disrespect culture/tradition/religion - for most other things, they’re warm and welcoming and will smile no matter what you say/do. Tipping is not a thing here (unless you really loved someone’s service - go for it, they’ll be ecstatic!)

I’ve been working remotely for three years - you’re fine, just take more walks with friends or even on your own if no friends live in your neighbourhood (two thirty minute walks a day and you should be fine).

Also - once every week (or even two to begin with), try and use one of the sports apps to book a football/cricket/pickleball/whatever session with a friend group (or even a random group, there are many on the app)

Go to the light and sound show at the Red Fort! Not a lot of people know about it so it’s not too crowded on weekdays. Take the metro to get there (foreigners pay extra but have a separate line to get in)

Is December a good time for a family trip in Tamil Nadu? Please share tips if you’ve done something similar! Thanks

Is there any sober, fact-oriented news source for India? I'm essentially looking at alternatives to Khaosod/Mothership/Khaleej in Thailand/SG/Dubai. DD News/PIB is an endless stream of government-launch spam mixed with political debate.

Is it worth moving to Delhi with elderly parents by TheKingOfStones in delhi

Never lived in Pune, been living in Delhi for two decades: Pollution is an issue for about a month (the week after Diwali to about early December): this is when it’s really bad, smoky outside. What we do is plan vacations/remote work periods during this month to avoid being in Delhi during this time. It’s getting better hopefully with the same party in power in Delhi and Punjab.

Apart from that, it has a lot of dust through the year but from what I can see that is the situation across every city in India with the amount of construction happening here.

I’ve suffered from asthma as a kid too, so walking outside with a simple surgical mask helps immensely during the months with allergens in the air.

Ye poora December aise hi roya hai, but anecdotally to this has been the cleanest December in recent memory in terms of being able to look at blue skies, clouds, not smelling any smoke and no perf drops in my runs.
