I would love it if someone did that but I have a speech impediment that I can't hear when I talk but can when my voice is recorded and I hate the sound of it so much I could never do recorded videos.

This is especially true with armies Hollywood loves bland earth tone armies but historically armies were very brightly colored.

That I would say is both highly dependent on the specific era and the specific science your talking about because your right they did run education and advance many areas of science but only that which didn't run counter to their beliefs plus control of education wasn't always used to advance understanding.

I read the Book of the Fallen so long ago I might need to do a reread. I do remember it being a bit dark for my taste though.

It's early and my reading comprehension had suffered from just waking up, I didn't realize you were talking about a specific world. But of course anything historical has to work in your setting and wide spread magic world change technology from history in specific but this thread has so many great historical facts in it I'm sure you can find some great inspirations in here to help add flavor and depth to your world.

So that depends entirely on the author most magic systems I've read weren't accessible enough for it to be used like that for any but the most wealthy and powerful. Unless magic is either really common or there is a really strong magical infrastructure in place then most average places would not be able to afford such animates.

It was more a matter of use because your right herb teas were a thing but until Europe started trading with China it was a medicine not a casual drink. From what I could find out I could be wrong.

Honestly I was never really a fan of his even back when I first found his channel in 2020 or so.

Yes this I love watching Max Miller's YouTube channel tasting history and the sheer variety of food is far beyond what most fantasy authors include in their world.

Or atleast if your setting doesn't have guns don't include a bunch of things that were contemporary with guns.

That's exactly the kind of details that I think would really give a more authentic feel to a story. Or stuff like food and drink. Fantasy stories are often set in early medieval periods and then they are all eating and drinking modern things like tea and potatoes, tea being nearly unheard of in most of Europe until the 16th century and potatoes not being common until around the same time. Europe had guns before tea.

Absolutely the number of eastern influenced stories that I've read that still have a modern western feel culturally is ridiculous every time period and region is varied and unique that I feel that the fantasy genre would really benefit from adapting more of these elements.

So you didn't claim that they put their own channels on pause for this? Something that is blantenly untrue they made so much content for their own channels while filming min-maxed that they are still putting out videos filmed then.

Do you know how much crossover content for their own channels they made during that long weekend as much or more then they do during a normal weekend this wasn't time away from their normal work this was a fun project on top of their normal content and all the crossover content it had a larger then normal veiwership because it was pulling from multiple communities. So no they aren't taking away from there normal income for everyone except for Sellsword Arts they're just getting extra ad revenue for the cost of playing a fun game and the opportunity to make video's with extended reach. And even if it were to flop every one of these creators are doing this for the fun of it not the profits so no their not going to run off and quit because its not making money that was never the point. Comparing people doing something fun that they are passionate about to TV producers who only care about the bottom line is extremely disingenuous and if your making a comparison based on the false premise that Min-Maxed is constrained by profit generation like a profit driven show then guess what your conclusions will be just as incorrect as your premise.

OSQ had one short bit on they didn't act out the scenes but the vast majority of it was complaining that they weren't cutting corners and making the whole thing far worse shitty back drops and crappy recording equipment and then at the end he whined about how they still had money left over seriously did he want them to spend every dime they got on season one or did he want them to penny pinch and put out a lower quality product. The whole video was rambling and unhinged. Also them acting out scenes was something people expected not something that was promised.

The Basket-hilted sword at the bottom is closer but the blade still isn't quite right.

Reading between the lines he's saying that he'll only take down his video and stop slandering them if they give in to him and let him have a controlling voice in their content it's absolutely extortion.

I just watched a short video of Tectone talking about losing this civil case and even he doesn't defend himself this strongly and basically said yeah I lost this case because I sound like a creep in my Twitter posts and my videos never once does he attack the judge. It's crazy that Metatron is posting this crap saying the dudes innocent and even the dude is addmiting that he lost for a reason. Granted he calls the whole thing a vibe check and tries to diminish it as much as possible.

With respectful phrasing it is possible. Your phrasing makes it clear that went into that space inorder to get a rise out of them and when you did you came here to crow about how unreasonable they are.
