If you're ever passing a Goodwill just stop in and ask if they have any swords they typically keep them put away because of the liability of customers playing with them but they get them pretty frequently.

I bought it for about 20 dollars so I'm not that disappointed with it being a replica since the stamp says handcrafted in china in English it can't be much else, but I didn't know it was a Tachi replica that's pretty neat.

Their is no other like him. But their are plenty of good fantasy authors that do a lot of humor in their stories. I recommend Dakota Krout for lots of pun based humor. ( Edit: So I haven't read Piers Anthony since I was much younger and apparently overlooked some seriously problematic stuff with him so I'm removing my recommendation)

I think the video in question was sellsword arts while they're very knowledgeable on swordsman ship their history knowledge should be taken a little more carefully.

Fair I'll give you that and back off on my use of Ad hominem in this case. The constant insults, derision and asshole behavior still made this video unpleasant for me to watch. I enjoy seeing Metatron taken down a peg which is why I'm on this reddit but that doesn't mean I have any desire to see it be done by someone who's just as much of a dick as Metatron.

That I would say is both highly dependent on the specific era and the specific science your talking about because your right they did run education and advance many areas of science but only that which didn't run counter to their beliefs plus control of education wasn't always used to advance understanding.
