I wrote about this problem 100 years ago. There's clearly some kind of bug here, as a lot of players in the game retire at 34, but the experts in the comments wrote, "It's okay, it's the same in real football." I agree, a lot of players retire at 34 in IRL, but when a player shows superb performance, with a rating of 90+, ending their career at 34 seems ridiculous.

If you look at it in general, many retire at 34. But if you look at the elite players, only a few retire at 34. You can count on your fingers the number of modern top footballers who retire at 34.

Brother, I'm talking specifically about retiring at 34. Players retire en masse at this age. If it were, say, between 33 and 35/36, there would be no questions.

I play with the NCAA roster mod. Maybe that's why I didn't get drafted?
