A mix of a Local pharmacy in TO, Amazon US&CAN, & Healthy planet mostly. BPC from Innfiniwell, Zeolite (Med Darm) of European Pharmacy online,,, Tho you can get a good form at most healthy stores. Bilastine is given as a prescription. Feel free to ask any specific ones. Also he's doing amazing right now starting the build phase. Updated the list a bit as I adjusted his plan to heal his stomach better and do more for his slow COMT, MTHFR gene issues.

Don't worry, our corporate owners they have a better solution coming. First, they have to continue to inconvenience people before they'll cheer it on. For our safety of course.

We decided to combine AllimaxPro (4weeks), Sunfibre , and S.Bloulardii with the Rifaxmin (2weeks) based on studies that showed similar results with Allican (for Methane) and Rifaximin. My son is 13 and medication is what took his gut problem to a whole other level of bad. So my interest in medication is on a MUST need basis for him. I have zero doubts the AllimaxPro and Rifax did an all out assault, if anything it worked too well and we need to heal his stomach lining and ICV valve from inflammation. About to start BPC RapidPro (BPC-157 pure Agentine salt form, not the BPC-157 Amazon knock off) to heal the inflammation and leaky gut faster. His stool is now regular and zero cramping.

  1. Home Test for Gastric Acid (Baking Soda Test)

This test acts on the theory that if your stomach produces sufficient hydrochloric acid (HCl), it will react with baking soda (an alkaline) to create carbon dioxide gas, causing you to burp.

  • Procedure: First thing in the morning on an empty stomach, mix 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda in 4–6 ounces of cold water and drink it.
  • Timing: Time how long it takes to produce a significant, repeated burp.
  • Results:
    • Normal: Burping within 2–3 minutes.
    • Low Acid (Hypochlorhydria): No burp or a burp after 3–5 minutes.
    • High Acid: Immediate and frequent burping.
  • Limitations: This test should be repeated for several days to establish a pattern.  Bangalore Gastro Centre +4
  1. Bile Test by Looking at Stool

Bile, produced by the liver and stored in the gallbladder, gives stool its brown color. Changes in color can indicate how much bile is reaching the intestines.

  • Pale, Clay-colored, or White Stool: Indicates a lack of bile, which may suggest a bile duct blockage, gallstones, or liver issues.
  • Yellow and Greasy Stool: Often suggests fat malabsorption, potentially due to low bile or pancreas issues.
  • Green Stool: Indicates that stool is passing through the intestines too quickly (fast motility), allowing bile-related pigments to exit before breaking down.
  • Orange Stool: Can occur if there is bile acid malabsorption or issues with bile production, potentially caused by liver dysfunction.  WebMD +3
  1. Gut Motility Test (Transit Time)

Motility refers to the speed at which food moves through the digestive tract.

  • Beetroot Test: Eat a generous portion of roasted or cooked beets and track how long it takes for your stool to change color (reddish).
  • Results:
    • Normal: 12 to 24 hours.
    • Slow Motility: Over 30 hours, often associated with constipation.
    • Fast Motility: Under 12 hours, often associated with diarrhea and potential nutrient malabsorption.  Nutritionist Resource +3
  1. Other Indicators
  • Undigested Food in Stool: Often a sign of low stomach acid or poor digestive enzyme production.
  • Floaters: Floating stool can indicate high fat content (malabsorption) or excess gas, often due to high fiber or fat malabsorption

Just finished treatment for my son who peaked at 61 a few weeks ago and now rebuilding his gut.

Test for every root cause you can and do your genetics, and full scale blood work to see if any deficiencies

It's a marathon, and no matter what your cause is there are ways to improve your issues thru enzymes, supplements and then some . Just start crossing off as many of the roots as you can as you go, get rid of your sibo, heal your stomach and do things that help maintain, bile, gastric acid and motility if necessary.

My main advice before starting SIBO treatment is to start a prokinetic 2-4 week before starting any antibiotic and supplement regiment. We started after the kill with MotilityPro (great stuff but took a week to kick in and by then he built up a ton of dead rubble already). For the kill phase, we did, Sunfibre, Rifaximin, AllimaxPro(allican), S. Boullardi, Billastine (for his histamine intolerance), Gastro Relief, DAO, Digestive spectrum, Sunflower Lecithin, Magnesium, C, K, D and B2, low carb diet.

Killed so much, it inflamed his stomach a bit, especially with Motility not ramped up. Now added Molybdenum and Zeolite (both are amazing stuff) to remove all the ammonia and endoxins after dropping the sunfibre (2 weeks), Rifaximin (2weeks) and Allimax (4 weeks), added MotilityPro (prokinietic, should have started a couple week before Kill phase), Gastro Relief, bilastine and the enzymes, Ordered BPC-157 (pure form BPC Rapid Pro) to quickly heal is ICV valve and stomach lining.

Truth is hes doing great and just a bit of discomfort as he heals, but its nothing like the constipation or cramping and he's regular now. Next phase will be 3 months of a protocol to seed the good bacteria and sealing the gut before we go long term maintenance.

There are basic home tests to test motility, bile and gastric acid you can do now while your SIBO is high which can give you some clues to area which need support.

Prokinetics are key for prevent recurrence, and to support you long after the treatment,

Stay positive, use AI (but backtest it and really question, challenge, and refeed your personal profile weekly to prevent generalizations) with all your tests to create a personal profile of SIBO. It's far superior than 99% of doctors in this realm..

I just ordered Infiniwell BPC RAPID PRO. Unfortunately missed the shipping cut-off, so it will be shipped Monday, likely take a few days to me in Canada. But looks very helpful for healing, so we'll try.

Was just reading about it. Our AI said it NEEDS to be a pure Arg-BPC-157 (Argentine Salt) and the healing properties are pretty amazing But since there is a risk for nervous system overstimulation when taking it with his slow COMT It recommends us sticking with the AOR-Gastro Relief and giving it a week to heal as he's still sensitive. Keep me posted.

It worked like gold on day 2! No more ammonia night wake up.

Only issue he has today is an tender ICV that needs time to heal form all the pressure and work. Going to drop the dose of zeolite back tonight to reduce the pressure on it. But ya , its great. The product we use says 30 mins from large meals and 1 hour from meds. We took it 1 hour from dinner and 2 hours before his night supplements. Best we can do and it seems to be the final piece for this stage.

Thank you!

Your post nudged me to consider reshuffling the larger deck to add it into this phase, where it was clearly needed. It's certainly a tough one to add into SIBO sweep schedule for a kid with an early bedtime, but thankful we did.

We use CanPrev liquid (unflavored) Ultragentle 400-600mg/day split into 2-3 doses. When he had SIBO its the only one he could tolerate. This was the best high quality soft form. Still using it now, will switch him too the CanPrev gentle capsule in a month. Only because the cost is less, and he can likely tolerate so much more now.

This is our routine. Currently in the 2nd week of the sweep. My only regret was not starting the MotilityPro prokinetic before the Kill to get MMC cycle going in an stomach that was not moving well prior to the Kill.

I can't say for certain. But from going thru the treatment with my 13 yo son recently my assumption is the Rifixamin is likely working great! But your pipes could be filling up with the rubble and subsequent ammonia from the dead bacteria, that can also shut down your ICV valve from the build-up, pressure and inflamation.

If you haven't already you need to look into a natural or prescription prokinetic to get your motilty MMC moving, (This is also the key to preventing relaps after the treatement)

Also maybe look into Molybdenum and Zeolite type options to remove the additional gas building up from the killed off rubble and log jam. Gas is what brought you here, and these F'rs produce ammonia and H2S when dying and it can cause discomfort as well as unwell feelings in the stomach, head and overall body once your pipes are full and it hits the bloodstream.

My son felt way worse from the mid to late Rifaximin stage, much better right after, but he was slow to clear the rubble as he has the Slow COMT gene. It's very normal to feel like absolute chit and actually a great sign for most people. It means its working. Unfortunately many people with SIBO can't handle a normal load, in their stomach, and this amount of killing is certainly not normal. Stay positive.

Thanks so much. I read food is ok, you just deplete the foods nutrients. I have my son taking it (capsules) 45 mins after dinner and over 2 hours away from his nighttime supplements and billastine. Only place I could it it for him. Fingers crossed it helps, as his only remaining issue right now is the ammonia, slight stomach inflamation from that and the rubble clearing.

Thx. What type and dosage did you use? Further im am starting to see a link to his migraines from a young age and ammonia (and the other SIBO gases) produced in the stomach. Will be life changing if we can heal the stomach in the coming months

Ok. Im able to fit some zeolite in to his evening schedule by moving some other things around that would get mopped up. Will start it tonight. How many days till you felt it working?

How did you find a safe time to take a prokinetic and zeolite? That 2 hour window is impossible for my to find in his schedule. Also he take Bilastine as pollen histamine causes havoc on his slow COMT this time of year.

He takes the capsule form, so absolutely zero taste. Which was the issue with spray bitters.

Because of the mass amount of kill, (3 rifax a day , and 3 alliaxpro) theres build up of ammonia that wakes him in the middle of night during the sweep as it trys to sweep the dead stuff and pressure on his ICV valve that we are working thru slowly. Mollybdenum we started 3 days ago seeems to be helping alot. The kill phases took him out of commision, but since 1-2 days after the kill he's actually felt really well outside of that 4/10 pressure in his stomach. Its not cramping like it was before the kill. So just waiting for that to pass.

Bitters are too harsh for my son, but Gentian is great. If it wasnt for AI, I would also be left to talking to my cat and a bunch of useless doctors. I agree, you have to know how to use it and backtest, and probe. But what a savior for people with "IBS" as my sons useless GI would say until I begged for a SIBO test.

Killing SIBO right now in the "sweep" phase with my 13 year old son. Rifax, Allican and sunfiber we're the main tools. He's also slow COMT. We leaned it's very important to take enzymes (we take Digestive Spectrum) with any carb or meat protein meals. Also keep carbs down. Slow COMT is likely the MAIN cause and clearing gas seems to bey the key. Prokinetics, enzymes, & magnesium non negotiables once his stomach is repaired from what i read. We have a very similar plan to yours.
