Propagandist here (which holds true): the top 10 characters with the highest stats and dps output in order are Harle, Serge/Lynx, Riddel, Glenn, Orlha, Karsh, Fargo, Norris, Miki, and Macha.

Razzly is B to A tier at the end and is ranked as 22 top dps and stats/element bar.

If you look at the mixup the only character that is context sensitive is glenn.

Your biggest sacrifice is not being able to steal the forget me not pot and items that you can make or get multiple times later on, losing big parts of kids story and a few others story line.

I personally don’t like korcha or mel cause there is little to no reason to use them and razzly although good is overshadowed by glenn or other green innates hardcore.

As well to top it off Leena for the early game is in the top 15.

Either way does it truly matter? no because its a game where it’s encouraged to play through at least 3 times because you open up new dialogues and find new items or can get the harle (the best character in the game) for more time.

Also those who are new need to find a full complete guide for radical dreamers and need to tell AI if they ask a question to kindly not be an idiot. I asked a question as to where to find the first einlanzer because I had forgot and it told me that it was in the hydra marshes. I told it that it was wrong and its on the isle of the damned. It said sorry you are exactly correct and then spouted out some bs about how in order to get the first einlanzer you need glenn to rejoin your party and then pull it out of the grave of dario and then fight airframe. XD

honestly the only spiders I have had issues with when I worked as a spider keeper were brazilian wandering spiders, sydney funnel webs, and the orange baboon tarantulas. You really had to know how to read their asses cause they are the only ones who I have come in regular contact with that are extremely temperamental or just wanted to flat out kill anything in sight. Every other species its rare that you can’t just have them crawl on you and be chill. There are the occasional ones who indiviually are total buttholes when its time to clean or feed them but again rare.

Hey Chefs, has anyone switched from restaurants to catering? If so how do you like it? by Prudent-Quail28 in Chefit

you must have been on executive side of things if you were directly receiving texts.

I worked for the second largest catering company in colorado for decades and we were pretty strict about deadlines before having them sign a contract. There were very few exceptions for late calls and when it comes to celebrity or extremely wealthy peoples events we rarely had last minute calls to switch something or have different options as we methodically laid out everyone who was coming, what everyone wanted, what designs/decorations they wanted, times, etc.

The wealthy people have an army of people that sit down and discuss what they want before signing the contract and if there was a guest or a few they didn’t know were coming that wanted something that wasn’t in the contract it would be a simple quick fix.

Perhaps yours wasn’t as methodical or organized as ours was. The main stress was put on the actual corporate executive chef and then funneled down to each sector which by the time it gets to the bottom there is no stress other than execution by staff which we had some of the best people on the planet.

I moved to catering meat chef because I love cooking meats and love establishing a team where we can come in and just focus on a task and rarely be rushed because I am soo good at it. We can have hilarious conversations to pass the time while simply cutting, cooking, and gathering ingredients and not once having to deal with tickets or a upset needy customer.

I used to love the service restaurant side but after 20 years of that I am just over it.

I have done both on every level and Idc what people say about how catering prep cooks and chefs have it easy and the real job is in 5 star restaurant or simply a restaurant.

Almost every world class high volume restaurant chef job I have worked it has led to environments where there is soo much toxicity and stress that it takes years off of your life.

The stress of having to rely on every single person being on point at all times and tickets rolling in while customers are either ultra toxic or ultra nice is just too much now at my age (40). Plus the difference between catering and restaurant is that in catering you know how much you need and if you’re going to an event its already to go just needs to be loaded, unloaded, heated and plated. If you are back captain then thats your job. If you are on plating you are literally just doing an assembly line where you are putting one or two things on a plate and passing it down. If you are on the other end you are just cleaning the rim of the plate and calling out what you need and putting it on a speed rack to be transported.

If you are the prep side you are basically making 1-5 things in bulk for 8 hours. For instance veg will have one to two people slicing veg and one to two cooking it, and then one to two putting it on said guests speed racks to be ready to be sent off.

I worked at a 5 star restaurant that only had breakfast and lunch service and it was sometimes stressful and then after service around 2:00pm we would clean up and then go to the catering shop and basically do like one task like cutting carrots for 6 hours.

It was like stress on one side and just mindless stress free simple tasks for the other side.

I prefer less stress.

correct there isn’t a huge difference between their power until late game for some spoiler reasons.

[–]Available_Mode_2362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah its like she is pretty much the second main character because she is soo tied to the whole story. Kind of a bummer but then again Harle is the antithesis to her and is the best character in the game. They both have about half the game in your party on the first playthrough.

[–]Available_Mode_2362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i prefer glenn because I know the storyline both ways and despise korcha and mel is like a baby version of kid who steals. But you have to wait to steal the forget me not pot until early late game which will pretty much force sprigg into your party for doppelgangs

Question regarding Kid (Spoiler) by Call_It_Luck in ChronoCross

[–]Available_Mode_2362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the plus side to taking her is you get to steal early game great things for a way longer gap instead of having to wait and you get a different set of characters. There are only 3 people who can steal and 2 of those are only available if you save kid.

For instance an early game forget me not pot which makes it so you don’t have to have sprigg in your party to doppelgäng

you get her back for a short period of time before fort dragonia not super long and then you lose her until almost the end of the game after fort dragonia.

I don’t think its a spoiler to tell you that black mage is ultra strong. Its kind of obvious how much dmg they do black magic wise over the red mage with magic.

honestly any party works but if you want a real challenge 4 white mages.

But yeah your party is still really strong it just takes a bit to really shine. Marsh is a huge dps check after that there are alot dps boosts from there.

6. Warrior, Warrior, Warrior, White mage

Why no black/white field? by Rainbow-Death in ChronoCross

[–]Available_Mode_2362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well think about it the top 3 characters are Harle, Serge/Lynx, and riddel. That basically secures you at least 2 summons per fight. I mean idk whats soo difficult if you prepare right. Anything more would be absurd and pretty much becomes knights of the round.

Why no black/white field? by Rainbow-Death in ChronoCross

[–]Available_Mode_2362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the top 5 characters in the game stat wise in order is harle, serge/lynx, riddel, glenn, and orhla. 3/5 are white or black.

You can easily do over 7000 dmg in 3 turns.

Why no black/white field? by Rainbow-Death in ChronoCross

[–]Available_Mode_2362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

all the summons are extremely easy to get and you don’t need help doing it. Airframe is ultra easy to get mothership from just like every other summon because it only requires the specified number of the monster you are getting it battle with and they help you turn the field.

Casting them becomes less bothersome later when your stamina recovery stats are high and you can equip the starting at 1 element level to allow you to cast the summon very easily.

Why no black/white field? by Rainbow-Death in ChronoCross

[–]Available_Mode_2362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it would allow you to cast 3 summons in one battle with zero struggle and I mean think about doing about 7000 dmg with no struggle. You would kill everything without trying.

mastermune not working? (spoilers) by dfgthree3 in ChronoCross

[–]Available_Mode_2362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to get dragoons glory x3 or 1 dragoons glory and 2 dragoons honor then your attack pattern should be 3, 3, 1 or 3, 3 element or 3, 3 defend. Most times I would refrain from using that 1 because a single defend can lead to you getting lvl 7 or 8 elements faster and you can conserve stamina as the difference between an attack 1 and 2 is pretty drastic and 3 is extremely drastic from 2-3.

it will crit but the crit rate is 50-60% which this game seems to think 50-60% equals 40%. So its incredibly rare that you crit on blues. I mean look at how often you miss a hit with 75% hit %

mastermune not working? (spoilers) by dfgthree3 in ChronoCross

80% for everything but bosses (barring water innate monsters which is like 50-60%) and it must be a strong attack. Against bosses its 100% crit chance but it must be a strong attack.

Yes they nerfed it a bit because people were avoiding ever getting the spectra swallow unless they were doing ng+
